A Dream Come True - 2/6/11 4-day Bahama Cruise

Where is everyone staying before the cruise?

We're debating on coming in either Friday or Saturday.

If we come in on Friday, we aren't sure what we are going to do all day Saturday. Although w/ work as it is going to be for a few months, I'll probably just want to sit and relax at the pool.

We're flying in Friday, around lunch time, and staying at Pop. Our friends are flying in Saturday night. I don't know what we're doing yet - my husband is interested in Universal, but that would be on a Saturday. That's also the day that we'd be able to see one of my dear friends from h.s.... who will be 7.5 months pregnant.

But my husband REFUSES to set foot in the parks. I keep hoping that free tickets will magically fall from the sky (hey, I've had something similar happen!) so that he can't object. And we can do fun things and eat at tasty places. But I think we can do that, not at the parks. We'll have to see!

James and I are staying at AKL beforehand. We arrive on Thursday the 3rd.

We purchased our plane tickets today! We are flying in on Saturday, the 29th and staying at AKL.....SOOOO EXCITED!!! Sunday, we made our Palo Reservation.......time needs to tick a little faster!

Lodging - check
Cruise - check
Dining Reservations at the Parks & Palo - check
Disney Dining Plan - still need to figure this one out!

This is our 6th cruise so we are now officially Gold Castaway Club members. With Gold you can make Palo reservations 105 day before your cruise. We were able to make our reservation Sunday at 9:00 PM (12 AM East Coast time)! It was kinda crazy, some dates and times were already not available, must be the Platinum Castaway members and Concierge.

What a beautiful ship! As for the horn, I'll reserve my final decision on that until I hear it in person but for right now I think it's pretty good! I love that song anyway.

Is it time yet?

It's two days closer than I thought it was because I though today was Monday! That's what happens when I have a holiday that comes during the week!

It must be getting closer--Jim is beginning to obsess about the fact that we need new luggage before we go. And we do need new luggage--one of our suitcases fell apart on our last trip, so we mailed the contents home from Florida. The only one going on this trip who has decent luggage is Shannan (who still has absolutely no idea that she's going with us).
