A Disney Miracle

We leave for Disney World (for the first time) in nine days! Yesterday I received a phone call from guest experiences and the cast member informed me that they've overbooked Chef Mickeys and our reservation was moved up by thirty minutes. Without my commenting (frankly I'd never complain about being fed earlier), she said they are giving me two extra fastpasses to use wherever I want on that day. I don't pick them out in advance, I just show up in line. Awesome! So I want to take my little boy who's smitten with Elsa to see her at the meet and greet, but I'm concerned that even in the fast pass line there will be a substantial wait. What time would you suggest I get to the line?

If the FP is ok there won't be a bad line no matter when you enter.
I just wanted to give you fair warning though, that even though the Cm on the phone said you could use them for anything, the anytime FPs are usually not valid for M&Gs... At least not as of the last time I was in that situation (which was a while ago). Perhaps someone will have recent experience with it...

We received one of these FPs last year. It explicitly said it was not valid at A and E and at 7DMT. I hope it is different for you.

Keep trying online for A and E. I was able to snag one from inside MK day-of. Of course, our return time was when DS decided to take his nap. Oh, well.

Thank you. The Cast Member specifically said I could stop in for the meet and greet and its listed in the drop down choices in the "more details" link attached to the fast pass in my itinerary so I think its good! Thanks again!

We used our A&E fastpass at about 5pm last week and there were no FP families in front of us and only one came in behind us during our short wait. I thought it was strange, but was happy about it.
