Let's start by saying almost all our previous 46 trips have been deluxe with alot of stays early on at the CR and then many at WL.......

This past trip, we decided to down scale and see what's like to do moderate....we alway visit POFQ for their food court so we decided to give POFQ a shot and booked at stay there since they went queen size beds...

We always enjoyed visiting this resort, especially the meals at their food court and then taking the boat to DTD.....we requested building 5, second floor.....and we got that....so neat, down the stairs in our building and 30 feet away was the pool, utrn right and 60 feet was the food court...

This location worked out for the best.....any problems during our stay...none! We done it all....weren't on any dining plan and ate well during our stay.....we had 2 grandchildren along plus their mommy and daddy, one 2.5 years old and the other was 2 months old. We did the marschmellow roast, nightly movie, carriage ride, boat to DTD, visited Riverside....and all the parks.....

I really didn't feel and different moving from a deluxe to moderate.....outside halls and not quick access to any parks didn't seem to matter....bus transportation to everything came in a timely manner and we always had seats, both coming and going.....now the Middle of July was not to our liking but this trip was scheduled at the end of our son in laws conference so we tagged a trip on to WDW afterwards....we're really the end of September/ beginning of October fans....crowds were above average to quite crowded but we expected that, it was hot and we knew that and spent alot of time at the pool with the grandchildren.....

To sum it up, would we do a moderate again....yes but only POFQ, the rest don't interest us...now for a stay it;s either WL or POFQ......of all the complaints I've been reading about WDW in general, some about POFQ, food and service......none of that occurred during our stay.....quite the opposite, first rate service, great CM's, Disney transportation on time and efficient...
