I wouldn't go with crocs!! I'm not sure I mentioned it in my PTR but we got crocs for the kids and Kya has been wearing them with no problem but then last week at the zoo when she was actually walking around in them for hours she got a terrible blister. We'll be doing something else for Disney as I also got a blister from my crocs. I'm just not sure what all the rave is about crocs. Kya and I have very different feet- mine are wide and short, hers long and narrow and they were no good for either of us.
I might bring crocs along just for wet rides or sudden rain. I'm having trouble convincing myself to spend close to $50 per child on shoes they can't wear next summer!!! I definitely won't let them wear crocs all day. Plus, each child will have a seat (2 strollers: one single, one double) so they don't do as much walking as the grown-ups!
Not a bad price at all! Sounds great!
If you go to sesame place tomorrow, have fun!
Thank you!
We went to Sesame Place yesterday. I'll have to upload photos! It was really fun!!!!
We had NO idea how long it would take so Tom and I were up at 5am. We packed up the car and woke the kids. The kids knew there was a surprise but didn't know what (we told them we were having breakfast with some of mommy's friend). They were great. We were on the road by 6:30am - including a mandatory stop at our local bagel store for bagels and coffee!
The drive took just under 2 hours (we made one wrong turn or it would have been closer to 90 minutes). No traffic at that hour! We paid an extra $10 for VIP parking - we literally parked at the front entrance of the park!
The park opens at 10am but they have character breakfast starting at 9:15. We were there by 8:30am and were the first people at the park. Good practice for Disney, right???

We went to our character breakfast as soon as they let us. The food was mediocre but the character interaction was AWESOME! Not too many guests and plenty of characters. Ernie spent almost 10 min at our table and was great with adults and children. There was big bird, cookie monster, Bert and Ernie, Abby Cadabby. Zachary was a little scared but was fine as long as the characters concentrated on the other kids.
Jessica is both the right age and the right personality for these character events. You'll see that she's the only child in the pictures. Nathaniel is quite shy (and I think he feels he's too old) and Zachary is still a little frightened.
The water part of the park was great. Fun rides! The lines were a bit long and HOT. It makes you appreciate Disney queue themeing! A little spray of water while waiting would have really helped. Zachary is quite the thrill-seeker!
Lunch was CS and not great. Food was expensive and very mediocre (worse than Disney). There wasn't enough seating which was annoying.

We left early - by 2pm. It was 100 degrees and we were exhausted. It's hard because we felt we didn't totally get our money's worth but it was better than having 3 cranky kids and 2 crabby and cranky adults!

Next time we'll book a hotel for the night so we can go back and take a break. Then we could return to the park and finish up!
