I just picked up my first audio book at the library Book of the Dead. I can't remember the authors names off hand (it's two guys). The book is very entertaining, murder...serial killer...Egypt mysteries at the Museum of Natural History. I'm about half way through it, but am having a really hard time keeping track of the characters. I am such a visual person that I need to "see" things to get them into my brain. I've been visualizing the characters' names and that seems to help, but it took a while.

I have to say, I don't know what took me so long to get an audio book. My commute is at least an hour each way and it's been great to pass the time!

I read it last year -- its a series I think that may be the 2 or 3rd book .. it was entertaining.

I just got "Under the Dome" by Stephen King (released today!)...told DH to wrap it and put it under the tree. It'll have to wait!

Has anyone read Barbara Kingsolver's new book A Lacuna? I really enjoyed The Poisonwood Bible and I am interested in the new book's premise.

I'm not sure - it was a price for pre-ordering, but it's worth a look

Just bought Stephen King's new one on audio "Under The Dome" and I'm loving it! Reminds me very much of The Stand, the way he weaves the characters stories.

It sure is! I just started it and it is hard to put down. A real page turner, uh, screen flipper... Anyway, it's good!

I just read Fairest of All: A Tale of the Wicked Queen. By no stretch of the imagination would it be considered great literature. The slide from Fair to Wicked Queen is a little clumbsy (and not quite complete) and had me thinking about how the book was written rather than being lost in the story. Obviously, it is ripping off "Wicked".

But it was a quick and easy read and I actually liked it a lot. I'd now like a little book about the Queen's father, lol.

Now I have to watch Snow White again, especially to see the King's cousins and watch the Queen's final scene.

I thought I'd share with Disney fans in the event nobody had heard about it (I hadn't) and wanted to read it.
