Love it!!! The pictures are great, you have the cutest bunch of kids!!! I love the picture of Seth and Lily on the train!

Of course Lily's a genius!!!

great update and pics.

I love the Mickey with family pic.

That was nice of them to give you a crown.

Her face on POTC is cute.

:thumbsup2

just found your trip report and its great, The pictures are fantastic. I espeically love the outfits you made for meeting Mickey, I so wish i had the talent!!

How nice of BBB to just give you another crown for free, im sure that made your daughters day along with getting her glass slippers!!princess:

Look forward to reading more Looks like an interesting title to your next installment!

Great Update! I love the "scary pirate ride" pic!!

My kids have a curious potty issue. Everytime we go somewhere, they IMMEDIATELY have to use the bathroom. I think I was in every bathroom in WDW when we were there in May. :sad2:

I love the pic with mickey, where Lily has her hands crossed. very cute! :cutie:

Hello again! I had popped in and said I'd catch up "tomorrow", but then I got tag-teamed with sick DDs and got a big promotion at my work that brought my Dis time down to nil. I'm catching up now and have made it back! Glad to see that you aren't too far ahead of me ;)

The girls looked great after their makeover at BBB and very fitting to take them to Fantasyland first - very cool pics of them there. And then CRT for lunch! A perfect fantasy day at MK for sure Nice candid capture of DS sword fighting with the boy at the next table. We too were worried about our DD11 not getting a wand, but they gave her one and even gave my dad and me swords - lol Wonderful character shots with the kids and I liked the pic of them with the suit of armor :D

LOLOL, "hit Pooh Bear", that was funny :) And no problem with the DL/WDW comparisons - we're west-coasters so we're in the same boat. Great that you got to see Jack Sparrow, our DDs were looking forward to seeing him, but we had a case of very bad timing and missed him both days we were at MK :P

Your DD didn't want to pilot? She's probably just old enough to be worried about losing cool points by doing kids stuff. More great shots of the girls and nice capture of the Toy Story bunch in the parade. No freak-out at HM? Score!

That is funny how your DD's reaction eventually scaled down to the parade wave by the end of the day She was very cute.

Wow, sounds like that was quite a downpour y'all got stuck in. At least you were under the shelter. At least DH and DS were also in a covered area, but too bad they didn't get to ride. Of course the other side of that is being the people ON the ride when the big rain hits. I was on Mulholland Madness with my DD8 (DD5 at the time) when the skies opened up at CA. I had to use my poncho to cover her and got pelted with rain through the ride. Still we were better off than my Bro-in-law and his daughter, who got trapped on the Grizzly rapids ride and it stopped with them trapped out in the open for ten minutes!

Oh bummer that DD2 lost her crown :( Good find with the cotton candy ...cures all that ails a grumpy 5yr old. Nice that they still did the fireworks and VERY nice that it wasn't crowded! Overall sounds like quite a day full of interesting and memorable adventures.

That was very nice of you to get breakfast for the fam and I have no idea how you balanced all that stuff! And I must agree with you on the Brazilian teens ...we had groups from Brazil, Peru, and Argentina. They were all very well behaved as long as you could get past the singing - lol. The only issue we had was when they swarmed a line for food or something.

That's cool that your DS's guitar looks like the RnRC one! DD8 and I rode ToT and RnRC 6-7 times apiece on our second DHS day - lol. Our next trip to DIS will probably be a DL trip and we're all looking forward to riding Cali' Screamin' as it was closed down the last time we went.

Nice photopass/character shots :) And I agree with you about ToT ...having the horizontal part of the ride really adds something to it. LMA is quite a show, but yes - it is an acquired taste. I've read several TRs that are that mix of loved it/hated it. Interesting shot with the tweaked camera setting ...looks like a "desaturated" shot - very cool. And yeah, it seems like they could do a better job of making room for the exit crowds ...it's just crazy!

That was quite a feat having one little one on your shoulders and another in your arms! Very dedicated parenting there. I had DD8 on my shoulders for Wishes and that was quite an ordeal - lol. It sounds like you made the best of a tricky situation with your ADRs ...and at least you got a good CM as a server and good tablemates with the older couple. And of course having good food makes it all worthwhile ;)

Nice shots from the backlot tour and very cool that there was no line. Did you go through while LMA was going on? And I wonder about that "special entrance" that comes with the Fantasmic! package. It is such a long walk that way. Cool that you got good seats and hot chocolate was found. Not so cool that you got wet and it was so cold. We sat at the top when the whole fam watched it and when DD8 and I came back the second time around we sat in the front row but got VERY lucky in sitting just right of center. Everyone to the left got soaked and we made it out with only a couple of very light mistings. At least you had the ponchos.

Cool with the towels 7 wishing stars and very funny that they were quickly replaced by tired DDs :D

I've got some stuff to do around the house so I'll have to come back to catch up with your day 4 post ...but at least I'm mostly caught up - lol. Have a great Saturday!

Just found this TR and read the entire report ~ It's great :thumbsup2 and your kids are SO adorable! :cutie: And what cute outfits!

Looking forward to more ...... popcorn::

Your kids are so adorable, LOVE the outfits! :)

Thanks!

What a great update!!!! I love the customs and you all look like you were having a blast! Look at poor Lily's face on POC! Can't wait for more!!! :thumbsup2

Thanks, I'm surprised she acted scared, she usually is a bit of a thrillseeker :scared1:

What a pretty castle picture on such a beautiful day. I love the outfits, I am sure alot of people in the parks enjoyed them too.

Thanks, it was a gorgeous day. It makes me want to go back! Especially since it is snowing outside right now!

The shirts on your boys are too cool. :thumbsup2

Man, I wish I could sew. :headache:

Thank you. Pretty much anyone can sew, you just have to try! Then practice makes you a lot better (I learn something new every time I make something) come hang out on the disboutiquer thread! We talk people into sewing all the time

They were just marking their territory :rotfl2: I love going to Disneyland because I know where every bathroom is and which one is nearest to me at any given moment--that comes in real handy when you are pregnant!

Wow, a long post!   I love it! Thanks! And congrats on the big promotion! :yay: Now is it just me, or is Peter Pan way better at DW? I have been to DL many times, but I don't remember half that stuff there? And wow, talk about getting wet on GRR! (oh, that's a cool abbreviation!) I either skip that ride or wear a poncho. I don't love getting wet on rides! My (big) kids  California Screamin'! Hopefully we will get to go to DL in June. My nephew is getting married in L.A. Unfortunately DH has no vacation time, so we're still trying to work it out. I don't want to drive that far (10-12 hours depending on pit stops) all alone with 4 kids in the car!
I hate driving anyway.

Just found your trip report and enjoyed it very much. Such cute kids! Looks like everyone had fun.

I love the Mickey shirts and Minnie outfits!
I can't even figure out how to thread the sewing machine :confused3

Kathy

OK I am such a Bad Disboutiquer! But I am finally all caught up. I LOOOOOOOOOOVE all the pictures. Oh my goodness those kiddos are too stinkin cute. Even the scared face on Pirates!

Great trip report! I love the fun clothes you made. What fun you all had at the BBB. It is great that dd2 got to participate in her own way, glass slippers and all.

I look forward to following the rest of your TR.

Thanks! I hadn't sewn much at all (a couple of dresses 8 years ago) until last September or October when I found the disboutiquers thread.

Thanks, I was really sad she was too young for BBB but it did help that she got treated like a princess too! princess:

So we hopped on the monorail and on to the Poly. We had never been here before. :confused3 The last time we were at Disneyworld many, many years ago we stayed at the GF so we often passed by on the monorail and I’d always wanted to see it. We had reservations at Ohana at 6:00, but I wanted to get there early and wander around and check out the beach.

I forgot to take a picture of the pool! It looked fun!

The kids LOVED the beach! They started stripping clothes off bit by bit…

DD2 waded in and got her pants wet. The boys zipped the legs off their pants. They wanted to stay there all day! DH and I sat on a swing and watched. It was lovely!

IMG_0460.jpg

It was idyllic...then it happened----THE POOP! I got up from the swing to take pictures and a seagull pooped right on DH’s head. :rotfl2: :rotfl: :lmao: (am I laughing too much?) That was pretty much the end of the tranquil beach time.

We figured that poop and the wet sandy children required a trip to the restroom so we cleaned up the kids the best we could, put DD2’s damp (from the water) pants back on and headed to Ohana. There was NO ONE at or around the check in desk so we waited for a good 10 minutes before someone showed up and we got our pager, then we waited some more. Finally we were the first table seated for dinner

on the way to our table:

The food was great. DH loves him some grilled shrimp!!! He was in heaven. I loved the bread and potatoes—not a carb girl at all! :sad2:

Then the entertainment:
DS8 even got up and joined in!

IMG_0475_edited-1.jpg

Oddly, DS5 chose to hide under the table. He must’ve thought some princesses were going to come out! He is usually not shy AT ALL and the first to join in any fun activity. I think he was tired.

Our dinner at Ohana was our favorite meal of the trip! The food was good, the atmosphere was great, the entertainment was fun. We loved it. DH loved Ohana and the Poly so much he even decided that is where he wants to stay next time! I have so many places I want to stay “next time” I’m just glad he narrowed it down for me! And picked a deluxe!

Up next: Day4 part3: Pirates and Princesses party on!

Take Meeeee!

You know it's good luck to get pooped upon by a sea gull...you should know this. What with all the seagulls in Utah (the state Bird).

Love all the customs! Cute LEGS!;)

Gimme some of that yummy Ohana bread! Not that I ever eat carbs either popcorn::

Great trip report.

Those cute outfits make me wonder which boy I want to dress up in frills.

great update and pics.

I loved O'Hana even though we went for breakfast.

I have been pooped on.

I would not take a Disney vacation and not include Ohana's in our meal planning. I absolutely love the food there too!
I really love the beach pics....and you didnt take a pic of your DH hairdo? :rotfl: I live at the shore and those stupid seagulls are the worst....tourists feed them and they will take food that you are carrying in your hands. Its scary when a bird that big lurches after you :scared1: and of course you drop the food and they then take it
Can't wait for more!
