Hello again! I had popped in and said I'd catch up "tomorrow", but then I got tag-teamed with sick DDs and got a big promotion at my work that brought my Dis time down to nil. I'm catching up now and have made it back! Glad to see that you aren't too far ahead of me
The girls looked great after their makeover at BBB and very fitting to take them to Fantasyland first - very cool pics of them there. And then CRT for lunch! A perfect fantasy day at MK for sure Nice candid capture of DS sword fighting with the boy at the next table. We too were worried about our DD11 not getting a wand, but they gave her one and even gave my dad and me swords - lol Wonderful character shots with the kids and I liked the pic of them with the suit of armor
LOLOL, "hit Pooh Bear", that was funny

And no problem with the DL/WDW comparisons - we're west-coasters so we're in the same boat. Great that you got to see Jack Sparrow, our DDs were looking forward to seeing him, but we had a case of very bad timing and missed him both days we were at MK
Your DD didn't want to pilot? She's probably just old enough to be worried about losing cool points by doing kids stuff. More great shots of the girls and nice capture of the Toy Story bunch in the parade. No freak-out at HM? Score!
That is funny how your DD's reaction eventually scaled down to the parade wave by the end of the day She was very cute.
Wow, sounds like that was quite a downpour y'all got stuck in. At least you were under the shelter. At least DH and DS were also in a covered area, but too bad they didn't get to ride. Of course the other side of that is being the people ON the ride when the big rain hits. I was on Mulholland Madness with my DD8 (DD5 at the time) when the skies opened up at CA. I had to use my poncho to cover her and got pelted with rain through the ride. Still we were better off than my Bro-in-law and his daughter, who got trapped on the Grizzly rapids ride and it stopped with them trapped out in the open for ten minutes!
Oh bummer that DD2 lost her crown

Good find with the cotton candy ...cures all that ails a grumpy 5yr old. Nice that they still did the fireworks and VERY nice that it wasn't crowded! Overall sounds like quite a day full of interesting and memorable adventures.
That was very nice of you to get breakfast for the fam and I have no idea how you balanced all that stuff! And I must agree with you on the Brazilian teens ...we had groups from Brazil, Peru, and Argentina. They were all very well behaved as long as you could get past the singing - lol. The only issue we had was when they swarmed a line for food or something.
That's cool that your DS's guitar looks like the RnRC one! DD8 and I rode ToT and RnRC 6-7 times apiece on our second DHS day - lol. Our next trip to DIS will probably be a DL trip and we're all looking forward to riding Cali' Screamin' as it was closed down the last time we went.
Nice photopass/character shots

And I agree with you about ToT ...having the horizontal part of the ride really adds something to it. LMA is quite a show, but yes - it is an acquired taste. I've read several TRs that are that mix of loved it/hated it. Interesting shot with the tweaked camera setting ...looks like a "desaturated" shot - very cool. And yeah, it seems like they could do a better job of making room for the exit crowds ...it's just crazy!
That was quite a feat having one little one on your shoulders and another in your arms! Very dedicated parenting there. I had DD8 on my shoulders for Wishes and that was quite an ordeal - lol. It sounds like you made the best of a tricky situation with your ADRs ...and at least you got a good CM as a server and good tablemates with the older couple. And of course having good food makes it all worthwhile
Nice shots from the backlot tour and very cool that there was no line. Did you go through while LMA was going on? And I wonder about that "special entrance" that comes with the Fantasmic! package. It is such a long walk that way. Cool that you got good seats and hot chocolate was found. Not so cool that you got wet and it was so cold. We sat at the top when the whole fam watched it and when DD8 and I came back the second time around we sat in the front row but got VERY lucky in sitting just right of center. Everyone to the left got soaked and we made it out with only a couple of very light mistings. At least you had the ponchos.
Cool with the towels 7 wishing stars and very funny that they were quickly replaced by tired DDs
I've got some stuff to do around the house so I'll have to come back to catch up with your day 4 post ...but at least I'm mostly caught up - lol. Have a great Saturday!
