Just a little background - I found the dis back in May while planning this trip. I found the Disboutique thread soon after that. I didn't know a thing about sewing, but with the encouragement and advice from the wonderful ladies (and Tom too) on that thread I bought a sewing machie and started making outfits for my 5 yo. daughter! I was hooked!
This trip has been in the works since New Years Eve 2005 when a BFF suggested a family and friends Land/Sea trip! It turned into a huge group! 15 in our immediate group plus another 10 here and there in the parks. Plus another 12 when we hit The Wonder on the 14th! So on Saturday, February 9th we began our First Family trip to the World! (Our dates were February 9-17)
Whew! What a trip! We had lots of fun, and I would definately do it again in a heartbeat. DH on the other hand says we won't be going back until the kids are out of strollers! Well, we'll have to work on that.
Saturday we left for the airport at 7:30am. Of course DD realized she didn't pack her Bunny or Pillow (major problem!!) so Daddy turned around and picked up her forgotten loveys! It was 12 degrees on Saturday morning!! This was both of my kids first flights! I don't think DD took her eyes off the window for more than a few minutes the whole flight! She got to sit with daddy and her cousin. (that's the Tink set I made for her birthday back in September)
DS liked the plane ride too! He played "Drop the Crayons on the Floor" with his uncle who was sitting behind us.
Once in Orlando, we realized that my SIL didn't have her luggage tagged for ME so we had to pick up alot of luggage before heading off to the buses! DS loved the bus ride!
Of all of the kids in our party, DD was the last one I expected to do this...
A few from POP!
My SIL and neice...
We went to DTD that night, but of course I forgot my camera in the room! DH totally spoiled DD on this trip! Her first night at DTD he bought her a mickey bracelet, princess minnie ears, a princess minnie plush, and a tee shirt. All on our first night!

So glad you are doing a TR!!!
I can't wait to read more. I think I'm getting seriously addicted to TR's.
.I have made some bows for DD though that turned out good. I'm looking forward to the cruise part of your trip since we just booked our first cruise on the Wonder for October this year. Also we are staying at Pop for DD's Bday next month, so I'm enoying your Pop pics.
I'm so glad you're doing a TR! I'm loving it so far! You've got some great pictures!
