A DIS stalker's first pre-trippie...It's D-Day (Disney Day)!!

A carryon bag...I had bought this actually a couple of months ago at Target. I wanted a carryon bag for the flights that could hold kids stuff and my purse stuff yet look a bit classy. You all know that I'm ALL about CLASSY! When I came home with this bag Rob looked at me angrily and said, "How many more bags do you need?" I told him how I needed this bag for the flights. I really really did. He just does not understand because I am the one who makes sure that all the kids have things to occupy themselves plus Lysol wipes, etc., etc., etc.!!!

I love it because it has all sorts of little compartments too. Such fun!

I went to the Disney Store yet again today to load up more $ on the boys' Disney gift cards. Alec received a bunch of money for his birthday so I took $65 of it to add to his card. I decided to put the same for Evan out of my pocket so it would be fair. I figured he would make the same amount in September for his birthday and I will reimburse myself. Putting $65 on, I thought, would bring the cards up to $100 each. So, the CM gives me back the cards and the receipts stating that there is now $101 on each card. I said how the heck is that possible. But then I remembered I put $36 on them before because they did an extra chore one day and I promised them $1. Also, just so you don't think Brooke isn't getting the same amount...well, she isn't. I think she is just too young to have that much to spend. She does have a card with $36 on it and if she really goes over a bit, I will just pay for it.

Okay, back to entering the Disney Store. When I walked in there was a long long line so I decided to browse first. We really did not need any more tee-shirts or clothes so I had to just stop myself from looking at those. There was a 99 cent small bin with kiddie crap in it. I found these that I thought may be nice for the kids to keep them occupied on the plane...

So, that's it! We have been getting the garage sale items set for Saturday. Let's hope that I make some booko bucks!

Sunglasses look so silly on me I've got quite a small face and I always look swamped, my hair is swamping my face at the mo but I'm going to the hairdressers tomorrow, am I the only one who comes out with the same style though?

I tried coloring my hair, I mean make the grays disappear in 40 min , and it came out way too dark and didn't go with my complexion. So....I have to have a professional do it...costly but necessary for me.

I just realized something. I too have all this stuff packed so they can play on the plane etc. (Its about 1:45 flight) But on the way down there I betcha they will probably sleep! It will be 6 am....Opps .

At this last week before our trip I'm really grasping to find something to update this with. You really didn't like seeing the picture of my laundry detergent or dryer sheets? I thought it was most rivoting!

Next Friday I intent to take some pictures of the morning of our trip. We will probably be leaving the house for the airport at about 4:15 pm-ish. Since I'm not so lucky to have a laptop I won't be posting until our return. I don't think I'd want to do live updates anyway. As much as I love to DIS I don't want to waste any of my precious time at the World!

We will have our very own washer and dryer at the house, but I will probably just throw my stuff in with DBF's things that way I don't have to do it!

I'm not sure I will do laundry but probably once. I only have 3 pairs of shorts that I really like. I am willing to wear them twice if they aren't gross from wearing them once. One load during the week will be fine. I did it last time we went down there. I didn't bother sorting clothes either - everything went together!

Cheap is good sometimes. My Wal-Mart shades were only $7+. I did find a really really nice pair at Macy's a couple weeks ago but they wanted $38 for them and I was like, no flipping way! Not with how I treat my shades! But they were soooo me...they even had some tiny rhinestones on the side. Sometimes I like to be a flashy chic!

I'm sure you could find a good pair. You just have to look. It takes me a lot of tryings on to find the right ones, especially when looking at cheap pairs!

I won't tell you how much my sunglasses cost.

I have Rx ones because I would be squinting if I didn't! My everyday glasses have the transition lenses, so they do get dark enough for sunglasses, but they have biofocals and they cost an OBSCENE amount of money, so I'm very worried about breaking them and then being lost without them - so I got the Rx sunglasses.. I wish I could wear contacts, but i just can't bear too... but I seriously may get rid of the biofocals - I HATE them .. just can't get used to them..

I have one nearsighted eye and one farsighted eye... the doctor says I'm "unique".. hmm... Bob may have a different word for that...

It's kinda strange watching them go back and forth when she enters a room! I would go nuts without my contacts--but I have noticed that they get really dry after a 12 hour day at Disney. I made a note to add eye drops to my pack next trip (but NOT to shorten the day!)

So, DM--are you getting a little excited??? Have you put anything into a suitcase??

I have those. What I hate about them is that I forget they're gonna turn into sunglasses and on a cold but sunny December day you're walking around town wearing sunglasses. It just seems wrong and stupid somehow.
