I leave for my trip on the 24th... i know ticket prices go up tomorrow and I should not have waited so long but life gets in the way... ANYWHO... does it really take 15 days for your tickets to come in the mail? I am worried that the fates with conspire against me and they will arrive late and i will freak out cause thats what i do... should i spend the extra money for rush shipping or am i starting to worry over nothing? I plan on buying my tickets tonight when i get home from work.. TY!

I live in NJ and ordered from UT. I used regular shipping and I had my tickets in 2 days. I was shocked they came so fast. But if you're worried, give them a call and ask. They're really nice on the phone!
Have a great trip!

I placed an order about 11am yesterday and chose regular shipping. About an hour later I got a call from them and asked me when we were leaving for FL. I told her 8/20, but had put 8/19 on the form. She asked me if I wanted to upgrade to express shipping for 4.95 because they had so many orders (and this was before the increase was even announced) and they couldn't guarantee I would have them in time. I agreed to the express shipping and about an hour later I got confirmation that they were shipped. I could of opted to pick them up in Orlando, but I bet that is going to be a madhouse for all the orders they are currently processing.

Sounds like they are busy at UT. I'd either express ship or pick them up in Orlando, at their office. This isn't a big deal if you have a rental car. On one trip, I stopped on the way from the airport to the resort to pick up my tickets.

What about going to a AAA office to buy them. I just got mine there for a November trip and got a great deal.
Just a thought...

Bette

I just ordered tickets on Thursday and they arrived on Monday. I used the standard/free shipping method. This is the third time I have ordered from Undercover Tourist and it has never taken more than 4-5 days for the tickets to arrive.

I ordered tickets from them a few weeks ago and had them in two or three days. I live in Washington state so I was surprised how quicly they arrived.

There are a few things that make this time of year a bit different for 'order processing', which of course is different from shipping time.

Once the tickets go in the mail, it can often only be 3-5 days for delivery here in the U.S.

But many things at this time of year can increase how long it takes to process the order.

- We are receiving x10 our normal volume of orders, and it is accelerating every minute.
- The number of possible fraudulent orders increases and they slow us down, even if your order is legitimate it can take a few more days to filter these orders out, run our security analysis/procedures and also contact you to confirm.
- We have to place additional orders with suppliers and they have to deliver them to us, if they have any delay we could be waiting for hundreds of orders worth of tickets.
- Breaking these orders into ticket types for our inventory takes longer as there are simply x10 the usual number.

Basically we really do request that you allow 15 business days as it has been taking that long for some and only a few days for others. If we start having to handle late deliveries it gums up the whole system and slows us down even further.

So in in the interest of efficiency and to enable us to process thus reorder as much inventory as possible and thus offer the old prices as long as possible we request your help.

We really do appreciate the orders, we simply want to offer the oldest price for as long as possible :)

Thank you

Undercover Tourist
