A different kind of Polynesian Resort ?. . .

The Polynesian has those freebie postcards in the hotel rooms. The postcard has a watercolor type representation of the resort. I would like a large print of that postcard representation--or something similar.

I am not big on shopping while at WDW and have never taken note of whether or not the Polynesian sells prints of the postcard representation OR other type of photograph that's suitable to frame. We just redecorated a bathroom with a tropical theme and, I know it's odd, but we thought the colors in the postcard would blend well with those now in the bathroom.

Has anyone seen a colorful print that depicts the Polynesian?

I brought a colorful painting of the Polynesian to frame while I was at the Polynesian in the gift store. I can't remember the name of the store but it was downstairs in the lobby. I put it in my bathromm also.

Thanks to both--I guess my resort print will have to wait until I can get to WDW in June. I don't usually spend any time shopping while on vacation--I'll have to make an exception this time around--I have a mission!

Have you ever considered having the post card double matted and framed? I have done this with the Wilderness Lodge, Port Orleans Riverside and will be doing Poly after our stay. I used a 2"off white matte and had a slim inner mat of the color best for the colors in the picture. I used honey oak frames in a simple design. They don't even look like post cards.
