A decision to make - CS or POFQ?

Well, I managed to find some cheap flights to Orlando, so now we're not driving. It changes our day of arrival and departure, and the CS is available for our new dates.

I'm trying to decide between the CS (I think DS would love the pool and the playground, etc) and POFQ (I think DH and my sister would love the atmosphere there) For our first trip to WDW, I'm not sure what to do.

I've looked at photos of both, but can't make up my mind. I know that we're lucky that the CS is available, so maybe I should just go with that? Our agent says that it tends to be the first one to sell out (this must tell you something, right?)

Any recos?

We love the CSR (hence, our 7th stay there this coming September) and it has always been our boys' favorite. We have never stayed at any of the other moderates because we are so at "home" at the CSR. However, if we were to try another one, it would be the POFQ...for its charm. I'm sure you can't go wrong with either one.

Hmm...I know my parents stayed at CSR and they loved it (although they don't do a lot of hotelling, so they don't have much to compare it to )

In my mind, there are plusses and minuses to both! Too hard to choose!!

We stayed in November at PO Riverside and at CS in the same trip. We also visited the pool at POFQ and enjoyed it. Although I loved both POR and CS, I really loved CS. The pool, slide, kiddie pool (has water fountain in it) were awesome, and what doesn't seem to show in any pics I saw was the really awesome playground. Also the outside pool bar has drinks and food, which I don't think POFQ has. CS is very spread out, but I found it not too bad of a walk. The bus service at CS was awesome, or else we got very lucky in the 4 days we were there.

POFQ has water taxi to DD so that is fun too.

I would pick CS... we are trying to rent some DVC points for an upcoming trip, but if that doesn't work we will definitely be back at CS!

We've stayed at both and we LOVE CSR!!! I can't think of one negative thing to say about it and we are looking forward to returning. Both are nice resorts so I don't think you can go wrong with either...

pofq is a special place and i recommend this resort - it's smaller and really unique - and it has a boat to downtown - it really puts us in the vacation mood -

Do you know if you can use the boat to downtown if you're not staying at POFQ, or is it strictly for people staying there?

I think we're leaning towards the CSR now.

I'm pretty sure you can take the boat even if you're not staying there, but not sure why you would (unless it was some guestes in your party...).
