We will be arriving on Sat. the 19th and will not be going to the parks that day. However we have a CS we can use. Can someone recommend a decent meal for our family. We will be driving to DTD. Is there something good there or should we visit one of the hotels? We will be staying at ASsp.

13 days to go

If you want to stay in the DTD disney area I would strongly recommend Earl of Sandwich, one of my favorite counter services in all of WDW. As far as at one of the resorts, the Pepper Market at Coronado springs is great. You also have someone that refills your drinks there for you, and the Ribeye ($18) is included in your CS credit if you choose to have it.

If it was me,I would consider taking the water taxi from DTD to POR and eat at The Riverside Mill food court. That is just because I really enjoy the boat ride from DTD to POR and the ambience at POR. :)

Strongly recommend Earl of Sandwich!!! :thumbsup2 Fantastic, filling sandwiches for a great price!! And free refills on soda. Our family eats here at least twice each trip.

I would say go to the Pepper Market at Coronado Springs. I have eaten at EOS, and no one in my party was impressed with their food or salads. We haven't been back since.

I'm in a similar position.

I'm keen to visit both Earl of Sandwich and Wolfgang Puck Express, though from what I can see you don't get the full value of your DDP CS credit there (I'm very happy to be corrected though).

I've therefore chosen to go to the Pepper Market on my first day. Reviews are generally positive and the rib-eye sounds really good. Though I'm interested in views on the Riverside Mill as an alternative - I hadn't considered there.

:wave2:

I'd pick either the Earl of Sandwich or the Sassagoula Floatworks and Foods Factory at POFQ, a relaxing boat ride away from DTD. If you go to POFQ remember to get the beignets.

POR food court for us... :crazy2:
To each his/her own though.
Occasionally we do eat breakfast at FQ, mostly due to the beignets.
Pepper Market is not a favorite. But we eat there when we want something more than burger and fries, want A/C, don't have ADRs, and are in the vacinity.
