This report EXCLUDED auto erotic asphyxiation. These deaths are deaths from kids who just wanted to "get high", passing out.
Even so, what can you do? This is stupid, dangerous behavior yes, but kids engage in stupid, dangerous behavior, don't they? TELL your kids NOT to choke themselves to get high, but SOMETIMES they will ANYWAY.
Parents tell kids not to drink, do drugs, have sex when they are 14, smoke cigarettes and a lot of other stuff that they do anyway.
I guess I'm just not getting the point of the thread. To inform people of "the choking game"?
I've heard about this before too. I can't believe kids actually do this.![]()

Im 34 - I remember being in Junior High and girls doing this. Am I the only one?
I'm 36 and I remember the Jr. High guys doing it... IN THE SCHOOL HALLWAY!!!
Youre right - and calling someone a prejudiced twit is the way to handle it.

I don't recall that I referred to you or anyone, by any name. I just don't see the humor in it. I think that there are actually teens, who, if they survive their teen years, might grow up to be productive citizens. I know that is a misguided, optimistic idea, but, I think it might be possible. I have a hard time finding anything funny about it. I live in a small town, yet over the years I have known at least four teens that died in car accidents, one who died of cancer and one who died of a drug overdose. The young man who died of a drug overdose was actually a math genius. I can't help thinking, that if his parents had been more "proactive", maybe more strict or punitive, he might be doing great things with his life right now. I don't know.![]()
That being said - posting a picture, I had JUST posted (happened to STILL be in my clipboard) doesnt make me a prejudice twit - nor does it make me not realize how serious the 'fainting game' is.
But thanks!

I didn't call you a prejudice twit. I don't know why you responded to me.![]()
No - you only agreed with the prejudiced twit caller.
Never mind, Dawn.
My son's very close friend since 6th grade, passed away Dec 4th - also due to circumstances brought on by himself.
Seeing him laying in a casket - with hoardes of children his age at the funeral home, with all his sports equipment and pictures from the day of his birth on, was heart wrenching. Have my son and his friends carry his casket, was icing on the cake.
He would have been 17 January 8th.
Please dont think I am not well aware of the great lives we are losing due to poor decisions.

To clarify i ASKED if you were prejudice? I asked because I was disgusted that someone would use kids dying as an angle for cheap political jokes and was curious what kind of person would do that.
Being that you are close to the subject makes the situation even more curious. How would you justify your post to the parents of your sons late friend?
With all that said. Apologies for calling you a twit.
