A Day in the Park With Barney now Permanently Closed

Although the show had been shut down since the park reopened, it was listed as a temporary closure, as of Feb 1st, it's now permanent. It was quietly removed from the website.

It was a well produced show and my 5 year old enjoyed it, so it will be missed.

My DD (now 22) was a huge fan of Barney as a little girl!! Heck, we have a dog that she named Barney after the big purple dino.
We saw the show several times. I will remember it fondly.

Noooooooooooo! So glad that we saw the show a few years ago when rumors were circulating that it would be closing soon. Many of the same people were working there as had been when our kids were younger, so it was great to see them again one last time.

End of an era. My kids loved it. We saw both the regular version and the Christmas version many, many times. Peekaboo (and Ms Peekaboo) were great, as was the rendition of “Grampa’s Farm”.
