Hi all. Once again I have had a schedule change(and a job duties change too
) so once again I will be going to WDW on Saturdays, I also got a nice 5 day vacation from work so we went this Saturday
Now this was totally unplanned as I only had 1 goal this whole trip...to see the animation tour at MGM. We got off to a late start about 3pm. Parked at Downtown Disney and took a bus to the Swan. Walked the path to the Studios. One gripe about this path is it gets very hot due to no shade. Drank my whole bottle of water on the way there. Got in the studios and checked the waits. 70min wait TOT. Amazing what a week will do..LOL. Went right for the tour which was beginning in about 20 mins so we used the bathroom and checked out the shop there. We then waited in line and took the tour. The tour was full. I wish we could have gone when there where animators but hey, it was neat none the less. From there we really didn't have a plan so we went to the busses and got a bus to Wilderness Lodge. Had dinner at Roaring Forks(had an excellent openfaced hot turkey sandwhich). From there we went over to Fort Wilderness and checked out the petting zoo. Seems they now close it at dusk. What a shame. Poor Minnie Moo. Was covered in flies. Poor thing. She actually let me pet her too..Also saw a flock of baby peacocks..soooo cute. Also made note that the barn itself was closed..HMMMM...From there we had no plan so we took the boat to Contemporary and rode the monorail to GF. Walked around a bit and found Narcoosees and then jumped a bus to PI. Went to PI at about 11. Went into a few clubs and got an ice cream. Saw the 12:05 showing at Comedy Warehouse. My favorite performer Jenifer was there along with a new Jenifer. A GREAT performance. VERY FUNNY. From there headed to Beach Club and watched the band perform there. As we were leaving the island there was a fist fight breaking out in the street but PI security broke it up quickly. Got home late.
Everyone stay tuned for next week as I am going to MK for Gay Days. Expect a full report when I return.
