A Day at Disney without going to Any Parks

We could easily spend the whole day at DTD and visiting resorts. You could go visit Animal Kingdom Lodge and see all the animals from the viewing areas. Also, the Boardwalk is really fun to visit at night, especially with the entertainment that usually goes on.

Congratulations!:yay:
DH and I just got back from a trip this past weekend, and I am 5 1/2 months pregnant. It was just as enjoyable as all of our other trips, maybe even more. And we did MK, HS, and Epcot! But if you're just going with one park, definitely do Epcot (I found it to be the most prego-friendly).

And one of our favorite things to do at Disney other than the parks, is to go to the Boardwalk and take a stroll. Make sure you check it out.:thumbsup2

I think Mission:Space did away w/ the single rider line when they added the green version of the ride. But you can use Fastpass. Plus, you can get a second FP w/ her ticket and ride twice!

Congrats! Enjoy your cruise! I went on my first one back in October and am ready to go again.

Since someone mentioned FW, there is the Hoop-De-Do Revue show there, the outdoor movies every night with marshmallow roasting/s'mores, there is also horse-drawn carriage rides (I think they offer both individual and group rides, we've only done the group ride and it's slow and relaxing but not very long, a little rugged sitting on hay bales but fun).

This is what I as thinking - except maybe not the bumpy carriage ride if she is indeed expecting.

Hoop de Doo won't take all night, but it is a bit of non-park DIsney fun, and you can explore the resort grounds. You could even take the free shuttle boat ride on the lagoon. you may even be able to get of at the Contemporary and then take a loop on the monorail, hit the gift shops. You can also rent a small boat of your own.

Alternately, there's a luau at the Polynesian. 'Ohana would be fun too - but be sure to make a reservation for any of the above dining!

I also like the suggestion of an evening in the Boardwalk area. That also won't take all that long, but you can take the boat ride around that area, stroll, enjoya nice dinner maybe at Flying Fish - or any place in the Swan/Dolphin/BC/YC/Bwk.

I like to walk around the BW/BC and Swan and Dolphin lake. It is a nice stroll and you can make a lot of stops along the way. If you are there in the evening you can even watch the Epcot fireworks from the bridge near France.
