A couple questions

I am pretty new to Disney transportation as we always drive down so I have a couple quick questions.

My son and I are going to Epcot from an offsite hotel and we will have to be dropped off and picked up. What is the best way to go about this? I was thinking I would have my husband drop us off at the TTC and us ride the monorail over to Epcot. How does dropping people off at the park work? I assume he has to park but I would think parking then immediately leaving is not allowed because of all the people walking? Is there a better place for us to be dropped off then the park? Maybe a resort?

Our next dilemma is pick up. I was thinking we could walk from Epcot to the Beach Club because we would like to visit Beaches and Cream. Then ride their bus to downtown Disney and be picked up there. Are the resort buses for guests of the resort only? I don't want to break any rules so if this is the case can you catch a bus for DTD from Epcot? If so we will probably just do that.

I believe there is a drop-off area for the TTC. You could also have your dh drop you at one of the Epcot resorts and then walk in from there. But, if you are looking forward to the monorail over to Epcot, you should be able to be just dropped off at the TTC.
As far as taking the bus from BC to DTD??? Not a problem at all. Just hop on board.

There are no buses that go between the parks and Downtown Disney.

There are designated drop-off areas at all of the parks. I'm pretty sure you won't be charged for parking if you tell the cm in the parking booth that you are just being dropped off.

If you want to be dropped off right at Epcot, you can do that. Stay in one of the right-most open lanes at the entry plaza, and ask the cm for directions.

If you'd like to ride the monorail into Epcot, you can be dropped off at the TTC. You will go thru the MK parking entry plaza, but you will not enter the parking lot; instead you'll be directed toward the MK resort hotels. Again, stay in one of the right-most lanes with a green light, and ask for drop-off directions from the cm in the booth.

When you're leaving, you can be picked up at Epcot, or at the Beach Club Resort, or at DTD, whichever you prefer. As previously posted, there is a bus from Beach Club to DTD, but not from Epcot to DTD. All WDW buses, monorails, and watercraft are free to anyone, whether a resort guest or not.

The above is correct...the drop off spot at Epcot is right up front and super easy to get to. They will tell you at the toll booth and you won't have to pay for parking. There are drop off spots at all the parks (well for MK it is right next to the Polynesian) and you won't be charged.

There are creative ways too -- if you are finishing up in World Showcase then yes it might just be best to walk over to Beach Club and be picked up there.
