A couple questions regarding gate prices, upgrading, etc

1. Suppose I purchase a regular 1 day ticket through the fanclub website (company is member). It's discounted by 10%. If while I'm there for a day we have time and are up to visiting the second park for a couple rides, what is the upgrade price? I think a 2 park/1 day pass is $84 (with tax). Will they take the difference of the 1day/2park pass and the 1day/1park gate price or the difference with the 1day/1park pass I got using 10% off? I don't know if the ticket show how much I paid on them or not.

2. If I chose not to advance purchase the ticket and play it by ear, are there discounts available at the gate - any coupons, AAA, other discounts?

I was at US on 3-18, bought 2day 2 park with 3rd day free from hotwire savings club. I didn't plan on the 3rd day free which meant that the tickets expired...I wanted the hopper but no expiration so I could use it on a future visit. I went to guest services, gave him my tickets (7), he reprinted them for 2d,2p non-expiring for no cost to me. Very friendly. I am sure they will be able to help you as it didn't seem like he cared what I paid for the ticket.
