We were given as a gift two adult passes to either park and believe it or not I've turned it into a problem, LOL.

We want to go to both parks for one day each, and we live in GA so I was considering the annual pass deal for $109.95 because....

48.00 child day 1
48.00 child day 2
59.75 adult day 2
59.75 adult day 2
total 215.50

3 GA Power Plus annual passes at $109.95 each
total 329.85

Can these single day passes be upgraded or traded? If not, can I sell them and how would you suggest I go about doing that? I could also hang onto them if they don't expire? I'll have to check.

Also, how much extra is an express pass? Do you purchase this by the day? We will be going the 2nd week in June, but with an almost 5 yr old, we won't be doing rollercoasters, so will it be necessary?

Thanks so much!

Geez, just realized that we could use the single passes, purchase 2 annual passes for a total of $219.90 for this trip, and then I could purchase a preferred pass for our next trip when we stay on property, LOL, now I have two trips planned! I can just hear ds singing "use your noodle"!

Not much help here, but...

call one of the numbers for Universal and ask for the annual pass department, they can answer the questions about upgrading. Don't know the number, but I have called the Loews ressies before and asked them!

As for Express passes, they are nice, but expensive and with a 5 year old you will be limited in what you are riding anyway. Assuming you can take turns I think the singles line works almost if not better than the Express for many attractions. Just get there firs thing in the morning to see what you want.

Have fun!

Here's the phone # you can call 1-800-564-5764, Monday through Friday 8:30 am - 6:00 pm EST or Saturday and Sunday 9:00 am - 6:00 pm EST. This will take you to the AP department.

Thanks for the number! I called and they said that yes, they can be upgraded at the gate for the exact value, but it has to be at the gate...an annual pass for a few extra bucks? No problem, LOL!

Thanks for the info on express pass too, it doesn't sound worth it too me, especially if we get APs and don't feel like we have to do everything in one day.

Thanks!!!!!!!

No problem..glad to help! The Power Pass deal isn't bad for $109.95 or whatever it costs. I would recommend the Two Park Preferred Annual Pass though. It's worth the extra $$$ if you plan to come down and since you live in GA, I guess there's a distinct possibility of that. The main reason I recommend the Preferred over the Power Pass is the discounts on merchandise, food and no black-out dates. You don't get the discounts with the Power Pass and believe me, I've saved tons of $$$ with my AP. Also with the Preferred you don't have to pay regular parking and preferred (which is where I usually go) is only $5. Think about it and I hope you have a great trip! :goodvibes

ugh, just noticed my tickets don't have a value on them. They were probably donated to the charity auction my Mom won them on by the travel agency that is printed on them, so I don't think I can upgrade them, so thanks for the preferred pass info, looks like I will be getting one. You only need one in your family to get the discounts right? I'm not worried about the black out dates. I checked them out, and we try to avoid going down during those times anyway, LOL. Thanks again!!!!
