First I want to vent... then I have a couple of questions
Vent-
Today I called Universal reservations to "add" an extra night to my reservation... (5 nights is now 6 nights) and the girl was just taking forever and kept putting me on hold.. I heard the Jurassic Park music 4 times..
anyway.. when she came back she reconfirmed the dates and told me everything was fine and then gave me the new total which was like a 1000.00 lower... so I said "Wait a minute" something is wrong here... it should be more... I have "added" a night.
Then she got all confused and started stammering... turns out she cancelled my res.. then rebooked - but booked a standard room instead of the club room I had and booked for a day less instead of a day more...
Then she had to ask me to spell our names again.. she didn't "have them" anymore... and also no record of my deposit which I paid in December... so it was a bit of a scare.. I was really sorry I called to add this night extra night! LOL
Well we got it sorted out... lots more Jurassic Park music and help from a supervisor... but finally everything is done! And after all that they charged me a 25.00 change fee for adding the extra night!!! How about my 25.00 phone bill for holding for 20 minutes long distance and my lost reservation!!?

Now I have two questions.... I added a meal & vault tour at the Hard Rock... has anyone tried this? It was 24.24 for adults and 9.99 for kids...
I also added a couple of dining experience vouchers for 35.00 and 13.00 kids... has anyone tried these?
(My aim was to pay for as much as possible ahead of time)
My last question and it may sound silly... has anyone ever paid more with their final payment... say 500.00 more... so there is room credit when you arrive?
Thanx for letting me drone on... I am sending final payment next week (way early) so it is all done with and I don't have to worry about anything between now and august.
