A couple of Soarin' Questions

Several posters have indicated that there is a single rider line at Epcot's "Soarin." I've done that attraction, and I sure don't remember a single rider line there; perhaps I wasn't paying attention. And I also don't remember seeing a line for those who want to be seated on the top row. Guess I was not paying attention again. LOL

Is there a single rider line at Soarin'? And, is there a special line for those who wish to be seated on the top row?

I rode it yesterday (in row 2). No single rider and no special line for row 1 that I saw. Wait time was 50 min. I got a fastpass around 12:45 for 4:41. I didn't get back there until around 7:00, they accepted the fastpass.

No to both questions as of a couple of weeks ago.

We were fortunate to be on row 1 both times we rode...you can perhaps ask a CM, but its like anything else in the way that it loads, the CM assigns you based on your party size and room in the row....

Last time we were there we rode 4 times - each time we asked if we could wait for the top row and were allowed to move to the next loading area to get the row we wanted. It wasn't crowded then, so I don't know if that makes a difference, but it's always worth asking.

Yeah, if you wait in line and once you get up front ask to sit in row 1, they'll let you, but you might have to wait one ride cycle. I did this with my group last trip...well actually I asked to sit on row 3 because I didn't want to be up high, but...still, no problem.

People say it was built with the capability to have a SR line. I've never seen the SR line in action.

I have seen people ask to ride in front. They get put off to the side and wait a ride cycle or two...then they get to ride in front. Never waited myself.

When the ride opened they used the single rider line for awhile, but now the sign is down and they pull singles from the regular line.

I get a lot of nasty looks when I get pulled and walk down the ramp.

They have a single rider line in Disneyland in California. Perhaps that's where you heard or read of it. It works great too - I wish they'd reopen the one in Florida!
