How does the kid swap work? i have two DD (age 4 and 6). I know the DD6 will be able to ride some things that the DD4 is not ready for. My DH and myself will want to ride everything!!!

And...Does anyone have specifics on Kids Club?

What hotels is it offered in? We are going to be at Pop Century (6/7-15).

Age requirements?

Do you have to make reservations before you leave? (if yes, is it too late?)

What is the approximate cost?

What kinds of activities are offered?

I know someone is just waiting to help me with these things!!!

Kids clubs are ages 4-12, must be completely potty trained, and is $10 per child. They close at or before midnight. I think 1 or 2 have been closed, but the list I have his AKL, Contemporary, Dolphin, GF, Hilton, Poly, Swan, Yacht & beach club, WL and Wyndham Palace. All clubs accept reservations with a credit card guarantee, some up to 6 months in advance. You can call the club directly or call 407-wdw-dine. No shows are a $15 per child fee. I'd call as soon as you are able to guarantee a spot.

There is also in room babysitting. If you don't have a car, you're probably better off with this option. This info (from UG) is:

Sitters from all 3 are 18+, insured, bonded, & trained in CPR. Some sitters have advanced medical/first-aid training and/or education credentials. At the end of the line, one person goes first and you or DH stays with kids at the exit of the ride (there is usually a separate way the CM will show you) You then go back in and get first in line for the next ride. The concept is great if the line isn't that long. It will be hard for someone NOT going on the ride to have to wait in a really long line for nothing. We did it for Tower of Terror and Rockin Rollercoaster - DH and I loved both but we only waited about 20min for each ride since we went very late while Fantammic was about to start. We also met a great family in MK with a little boy my dd's age and us women went on some rides while DH's took them to Pirates of the Carribean. Worked out great!!

DS, then 4, stayed at VWL kids club last trip. Had a blast. Wants to go back. I just tried to ask him what he did, but he is watching Buzz so all I got was a vacant stare.

Anyway, from what I remember, he had dinner (they get to choose one - he had grilled cheese and chocolate milk), did arts and crafts (made an elephant mask), watched a movie, played free video games and played with other toys.

He had a wonderful time and wasn't the least bit upset when we left him and he was going through a clingy stage then.

We made reservations in advance - maybe about 60 days out or so. I'm sending both kids next time, but will have to wait 3 years until DD is old enough!

Actually, it depends on the ride, the CM working that day, and the height of the child (if they are tall enough but don't want to ride).

For ToT and RnR if the child is tall enough, yes, you have to wait in the line and swap at the ride. But if your child isn't tall enough, the CM will give you a ticket that looks like a Fastpass ticket but it's good for 2 days and it's good for up to 4 people. Most rides do this now.

Test Track, I believe you swap at the exit. So you meet up at the exit and switch there BUT you must tell the CM at the entrance and I believe you'll get a voucher for the swapping.

I suggest when you arrive at a ride, ask the CM whose stationed there how they handle baby swap.
