So I like the idea of going to downtown Disney and and rainforest for out evening arrival.

First, if we go to downtown Disney will that be using one of our park hopper days?

Second, rainforest cafe in Phoenix is disgusting so I'm a little hesitant. By disgusting I mean the three times we've one we've gotten bloody meat, hair in food, and horrible service. Is it any better in ca?

If I have park hopper tickets, I'm assuming we can go to dl during the day and dine an spend the night in ca adventure. It's my dds birthday so I want to spend the day in dl and eat dinner with the princesses. Do you guys recommend that?

What is "djs dancin n" in California adventure?

Anyone know what Minnie's flight school ( I think that's what it's called) is?

DTD is open to the public, not ticket required.

I'm not into the RFC food, but I've never had the same complaints.

Yes with hoppers you can go back and forth between the parks as many times as you'd like. Ariel's Grotto will be a good choice to take your Princess to on her birthday.

Dancin with DJ takes place in Carsland. DJ is the blue car from the Cars movie who plays music. DJ comes out and plays music and some CMs do special dances and guests are invited to join in and learn the dances.

Minnie's Fly Girls sing in Condor Flats a few times a day, it's a little stage show.

Ill help out where I can...

Nope. It is open to anyone

You know, I have only eaten at the AZ RFC once (and it wasn't really that memerable) but I have always enjoyed the meals at the DtD RFC.

Yep. You can go back and forth as much as you like:thumbsup2

Eew, sounds like your RFC needs a health inspector visit. We really enjoy the one in DtD. Never had we had any experiences there like you've described.

It's a show with Minnie and other dancers. It's a fun show that pretty good. I would recommend giving it a try if your group likes dancing and singing type shows.

As others have pointed out, there is no ticket required for Downtown Disney. You are free to come and go as you please.

While I have never had an experience as bad as that at RFC, I will say that I was not impressed in the least with the food. It was terribly overpriced as well.

You are free to go back and forth between the 2 parks as often as you wish. Ariel's Grotto in CA is a wonderful place for you to spend your daughter's birthday. Don't forget the reservations!

we enjoy RFC in DTD, good food, huge portions, we generally get 1 appetizer to share and 2 entrees which we split between 4 people. Sometimes we have enough room for a volcano but not often. I've never had any of the issues you mention and we have eaten at RFC almost every trip to DL.

absolutely, we always recommend park hopping and eating at AG as well. In fact, we are dining at AG this weekend, Saturday I believe. :)

If you're asking about Dancing with DJ it is as a PP mentioned, DJ plays oldies, DD and I enjoyed it. There is also a DJ dance party in DCA over by the Mad T Party main stage, in there they have a DJ and characters and you can dance with them.

Cute little show over in Condor Flats, across from Soarin' next to the shop there. It's very cute and I highly recommend it, I also highly recommend the NewBoys show. go watch, you'll know why. :)

We've been to the DTD RFC a few times now. The first time we were there, we all loved it. The food was great, the restaurant clean, the servers super duper.

The last time we were there, it seemed a lot less clean and the food was clean, but not really much to write about (we were all a bit disappointed). It may have been an off day (for us or them), but we're not planning on hitting the RFC this fall when we're there. Instead we're hoping to try the DLH restaurants.
