A couple of Questions about "MyPoints"...

Can you see that I haven't visited this board much??...LOL...

Anyway, I've been collecting "MyPoints" for almost 2 years and finally got enough points to purchase a "RainForest Cafe" certificate. I received this, and, it says "gift certificate" for Landry's Restaurants. I wanted to know if anyone has tried some of these other restaurants in the Orlando area (if available)--Joe's Crab Shack, Laundry's Seafood House, The Crab House, Willie G's, Cadillac Authentic Mexican Restaurant, etc...and, how you liked them?
We will probably use our certificate for RainForest Cafe...just wondering if anyone has tried these others.

Also, can you use the the certificate at either the Animal Kingdom Rain Forest Cafe OR, the Downtown Disney Rain Forest Cafe? I seem to remember reading a post somewhere that mentioned certificates were only good at one of the Rain Forest restaurants at WDW.

One last question (For now)...Who/What is "Max" on MyPoints? I tried looking on the Flower/Greetings and couldn't seem to find this Max. Any advice for locating him/getting additional points would be appreciated!

"Max" is a red triangle character that occasionally shows up in shopping. Click on him to receive points (usually 5-10, but have seen up to 50). If you don't see him when the page initially loads, then hit refresh until he appears (it usually takes several times).

I'm not sure about the gift certificates, but it seems like they would be accepted at any of the listed restaurants across the US.

We used our RF cafe GC at the downtown Disney site. No problems whatsoever.
