Hi guys! I'm sorry if this has been asked before, but I have two questions related to MagicBands/dining credits.
Because our first day of travel wasn't covered by free dining, we have two sets of MagicBands, one set covering the first day, and the other set covering the rest of our stay. At my TA's recommendation, I called the Disney Service Desk and they said there was no way to link these two together and have only one set of bands; we have to use both. That seems strange to me, as we are not switching rooms or hotels. So my first question is whether that's true... my TA said she'd never heard of such a thing. My second question is: Can we use dining credits on a day not covered by free dining? I suspected not, but wanted to check. I have an ADR on day one that I was previously thinking would be covered by free dining, and now it isn't, so I wondered if I could still use a credit and get it covered without having to swap all my ADRs around.
Thanks everyone for being such a valuable resource!
PS Sorry I just realized this is probably more appropriate for a dining thread. :/
