1. I am planning on taking Uber from Caribbean Beach Resort to Universal/IOA is uber easy to get to go back to the resort?

2. Will a one day pass cover both Universal and IOA and would we have enough time in one day to do both, we will not be doing anything Harry Potter (not our thing)

3. Fallon is opening 4/6 and we are planning on Friday 4/7 would this be a mistake and will the park be overly crowded because of the new opening?

4. Should I buy my tickets ahead of time or at the gate the morning of?

You would need to buy the one day park 2 park ticket

I'm not sure how the crowds will be for your date

Someone will come along and help you more than I can for that

1.uber is a great choice and will take you to a main drop off point.
2. You need a park to park ticket. It's going to be pretty crowded so aim to be arriving about an hour before opening.
I hope you visit the Harry Potter sections. The theming is fantastic and the headline rides are tons of fun. You'll be missing out on a great part of UO of you skip them. You don't have to be a HP fan to enjoy them.
3. I don't think it'll cause a big attendance spike.
4. Always wise to buy ahead vs wasting time in line. If you have access to a printer, you can just buy from home even.

thank you for the answers. I can definitely print tickets at home and bring them with me.

and I think we will start in the HP section of Universal and move on from there...
