a computer illiterate question

I have lost my tool bar...I guess that's what it's called that gives me the icons for gettin on the internet & then all the icons where I have windows open...how do I get it again??

Generally you can see the edge of it at the bottom of your screen where it was. Right mouse click and hold button down to 'grab' it and drag it up a bit. Should work.

Look near the top of your screen. There should be a row of labels starting with "Files". The third one should read either "Display" or "Show". Single left click on that will show you the list of options. At least for me, the "Toolbar" is the fourth down on that list. Single left click on that, and you can see what toolbars are available. Just left click on the one you want, and you've got it.

(Should you happen to click the wrong one, just give it another left click and it will disappear.)

I did mean the left mouse button.

Also, try hitting the F11 key.

If it's windows, reboot, if it does not come back, throw it out and get a mac
