A complicated FP question!!

We are a family of four. When we are all in a park together we always get four Fastpass tickets even if some of us don't want to go on a particular attraction. This means that occasionally some of us get to ride twice in succession!! This is legal, right?

So how about this....

Two people decide to stay by the pool and the others go to a park.

Can the people in the park carry all four theme park tickets with them to get double Fastpass tickets? Or will the machines notice that the extra tickets weren't processed at the gate?

If we all four go out to a park in the evening, later that day, will we encounter problems at the gate?

Has anyone tried this? Is is possible or even allowed?!!

Just a thought - it seems a pity not to use the tickets.

The ticket needs to be used for admission in order to use it in a fast pass machine.

The tickets have to be scanned through the admission gates in order to be "activated" and valid to recieve Fast Passes. I tried doing what you are suggesting once, and the FP machine spit out a ticket that said "Invalid Admission Ticket" or something like that.

Yeah, they have to go through the entrance to work. If they don't the FP will say Invalid or something.

Thanks for your replies. It seemed just too good to be true. I guess I'll just have to drag the whole party along!!!

Of course, nothing says that they have to stay after entering the park. Have them come along and then return to the resort.

You can only get FPs for passes that entered the park. So the answer is no.

It would seem two of the people could enter the park, then leave the park, then re-enter with the other two tickets, and thus get all of them scanned. And then FP away. The only downside is one of the days gets used up on the "unused" tickets.

Heres what I plan on doing.....Me, dh , dd6 and ds13 will all be entering the park at 8am fot breakfast in the castle. :goodvibes
After breakfast dhand ds will be leaving and going to Kennedy for the day. Sooooo I will keep their tickets and dd and I will have double fast passes all day Yippee :hyper:

This would not work, because tickets are not transferable -- the two park-goers could get in on their own tickets with the finger scan, but not on the other two tickets, since the finger scans would not work.

If all four of you went to the park in the morning, and then left, all four tickets are still active. The FP machines don't know you left. So, you can bring them back and use them in that park later for FPs.

You can't bring a ticket (or room key) that hasn't been used to enter the park to obtain a FP...trust me, I tried.

The only way I have found to obtain double FPs is to enter the park with a ticket, turn around and exit, and then re-enter the park with a second ticket, but that gets expensive. Good Luck!
