A CM told me...

We almost ALWAYS skip DHS
May I ask why? There are really great attractions there it may be a half day for you so you could put DTD on that day or something if you don't have park hoppers. We don't spend a whole day there but I definitely wouldn't pass up ToT, RnRc, TSMM, and star tours.

The link below shows that of March 2014 both Incredibles 2 and Cars 3 were in the works... Cars is suppose to have a short film out in 2015; but the article mentions if that isn't turning into something bigger...

Just adding my 2 cents - I grew up watching all the Star Wars movies and they are ok; however not something I would spend a great amount of time seeing.

I also grew up watching Disney every Sunday evening at 6pm central time. Watching all the princess movies and others each week. I have grown to love each Disney and then Disney/Pixar movie.

I think both a Star Wars land AND a Pixarland should be introduced to DHS... I think you would bring a more diverse crowd - from the very young children and their families to the older generations.

Bob Iger did say both a sequel to incredibles and cars are coming

I'm not the person you asked but for many families with small children they only have one option...Toy Story Mania. The others have height requirements. The only other attractions in the park are shows, which small children are not known for doing well sitting through ;) Hollywood Studios is just not the greatest park for families with small children right now. I do hope that changes (to the effect of more rides for small kids without taking away things that interest teens/adults). If nothing new is added for small kids before we go back in 2016 it is pretty likely we will skip that park.

One thing I know for sure, Disney *needs* something for little boys.

Pixar is ripe with properties that would appeal to little boys, while also making families happy in general -- Monsters, Inc., Incredibles, Up, A Bug's Life, Ratatouille, Nemo, Toy Story (although having TSM is enough for me, knowing that Buzz is also across property at MK), Cars, etc. Hoping that the suits authorize some creativity and take advantage of some of these without regurgitating rides from other parks.

As for Star Wars, even for kids who do not already know Star Wars, I would hope that whatever they do ride-wise would still appeal to them (just as I'm hoping the Avatar rides will be great even if people aren't Avatar fans).

Disney junior is big with little kids and the animation studio is fun learning how to draw disney characters. I understand where your coming from but we still go for at least a half day.

We're planning a half day as well, but I'd love to see some Pixar expansion... We aren't big star wars fans and a lot of people aren't. I think Pixar has the most immediate mass appeal.

I think both are necessary and based on what I've heard from some reliable sources both are coming.
