I just called to reserve a cruise in Dec- we'll be on one this week & i thought I read somewhere on here that if you have an exsisting reservation that you could apply the onboard booking credit to that one & use the original price? I asked the CM & he said no & then when I told him I wanted to reserve this one anyway & I'd cancel if I was able to get one on the ship he, very curtly, told me I had to put a deposit on this one. I asked to make sure that I had the full 7 days to make my decision(perfect for me as we'll be back next sun) & he said yes- but if I hadn't said anything I think he would have asked me for my CC info & made me put a deposit. All in all not a pleasurable expirience- but anyhow-- So is it true? Can I not use that price to rebook? Also, this time around we booked a GTY room & ended up with an upgrade- the CM gave me a room assignment- should I leave it that way or ask for gty? Thanks for any advice & for listening to me ramble!
