I love Periscope! Especially folks that are in WDW at the moment... It's almost like have the magic come straight to you! I'd love to see some DCL Periscope action!

Well....it sounds like a nice idea...but using the app on a cruise is a bit different ballgame. Primarily because of the cost of the data that streaming video would surely use up. While I certainly wouldn't mind seeing someone else stream from a cruise...not sure I would spend the money to stream myself.

oh, not while you are streaming, but while you are leaving Port Canaveral, Miami, New York or Galveston. You should have cell service until you pull a couple of miles out of port.

The last time we were on Magic, our cell phones switched over to cellular at sea as soon as the ship dropped its mooring lines in Key West. Ships have the capability to block outside cell service at the flip of a switch.

I'm really surprised they did it that quickly in US waters.
