A Celebration of HP Packages Questions

I am considering buying the (overpriced) AP Celebration package. I read what all the packages include carefully, and noticed a difference between panel access for premium vs regular packages. For premium, you get guaranteed access to panels and a reserved section. For the regular packages, the website just says special access on a first come, first served basis. For those who did a regular package last year, what does this mean? I thought a big part of the packages was sitting in the reserved, up front sections with a much shorter wait. Is that only for the super expensive package? Do regular package people just enter first and sit anywhere? How does this work at the Music Plaza events, seeing as its open seating- no lines to get in. Do regular packages get to stand in a special section up front or is there no benefit? Thank you.

I searched DISboards and google for a long time, and found zero information about how access to the demonstrations/panels work. It was hard to find any information about the packages other than what Universal has released for past events and the upcoming one. I figured there should be people on here who did the regular package last year who know, but maybe not.
