A call to all Romantics.

I wish now I Had enough points for a 1 Brdm. I feel Addonitis coming but a good dose of checkbookicillin will probably take care of it. I do like the bath bomb idea though. Now gonna hit the thread recommendation. I am so excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh, I almost forgot...Any thoughts on a "skywriting" or is it just expensive overkill...come on ladies, give me an opinion.

Well, I think the jacuzzi is the way to go as well and I always light about 8 tea lights and put them around the tub. I'd much rather splurge on the one bedroom than skywriting. They do it around Celebration a lot and if it's cloudy or slightly windy, it just doesn't work. If you want to do something in the air, they do offer hot air balloon rides.....but I'm not sure how romantic that would be unless you can convince the pilot to wear a blindfold and ear plugs.......J

I love to watch Wishes with my DH from the California Grill. They dim the lights and pipe in the music...talk about having the best seat in the house for the fireworks...and ultra-romantic, too!

Also, if you want "free" romance...you can watch the electric light parade on the lagoon from the beach at the Poly (I think they are still doing it). That is also fun...just bring your own wine, and the Dinsey will provide the magic!

If you're in a 1BR or larger, stop in Basin at DTD and buy a bath bomb. Then pick up a bottle of champagne at Artist's Palette, and head back to your room for a date in the jacuzzi tub!

LOVE this idea! If you have the points, splurge for the 1-BR for this reason alone!

Illuminations cruise. You rent a pontoon boat for about an hour. They ride you around BWV, BCV, S&D, MGM then park you under the bridge at Epcot for a great view of Illuminations. I think they will provide wine and cheese if you inquire about it. Very romantic, especailly if you have the boat with just you 2 and the capt.

PT92, Good for you for trying to make this a romantic vacation for your wife!
My husband and I will be there in a few weeks and we are celebrating our
16th wedding anniversary on April 20th. We will be going to our favorite restaraunt in DTD (without the kids) Fultons' Crab house. It a special place for us. Although we have never eaten there, I have heard wonderful things about Victoria and Albert's restaraunt. It's supposed to be very romantic and I think it's at the Grand Floridian. You need a jacket and tie as it is very formal. Good Luck with all of your plans and HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!

Cruises...dinners..fireworks...strolling hand in hand...AND Bath Bombs :woohoo: I wonder if we will ever see the parks??? Thank you all for the effort put forth. If anything else comes to mind, I would love to hear your ideas. I loooooooove creativity!!!
