A call from Germany

My dear nephew called from Germany. It was great hearing his voice. Even though he has just been gone for a week. I sure do miss him. He was using a phone on base, and it showed that the call was coming from Chicago. DH almost didn't answer and I told answer it might be Joe. He said it is absolutely beautiful over there.

I lived in Germany for 3 years because my husband is in the army. The scenery is amazing. Everything is so different. Even the air smells different. Best wishes to your nephew.

My brother was stationed in Germany and he loved living there

My husband spent 2 years in Germany at Hahn Air Base in the mid-80's. He still talks about it being his favorite Air Force assignment.
