Stopping by for a brief update on yesterday at the hospital for Marie's biopsies.
First, again, a BIG thank you from both Marie and me, for so many kind and much appreciated good wishes, thoughts and all important prayers. You all are the best. Thanks.
Marie and I arrived at the hospital and the Women's Care Breast Center a little before noon, checked in and waited for a short time. When Marie's time came, she went with the nurse to the biopsy area. I had my supply of newspapers to read.
About 2 hours into it, one of the nurses came out and said two sites were completed and they were going to do a third. As it turned out, that third was too painful and was not done. All in all, Marie was 'in there' for about 2 1/2 hours. She did say it was quite a bit more painful than she anticipated and glad it is over. Now for the waiting for the results, probably early next week.
Tylenol, ice packs and rest last night. Feeling a bit better this AM, and glad it is over.
Again, thanks so very much for so many kind words, prayers of support.
