A brief stay at POFQ

After a week at BCV, we spent 2 nights at POFQ. What a lovely place! The decor is really attractive, with the dark cherry furniture and the beautiful yellow print bedspreads.

We stayed in bldg. #3 (actually rm. #3139), which was a nice location for us. We were very close to the parking lot, which was handy when we wanted the car. It was also nice and close to the general store and the food court.

We loved strolling along the river several times during our brief stay. What a pretty walk that is! We went over to Riverside and explored there too.

While I'm looking forward to trying out other Disney hotels, I know I'd enjoy more stays at POFQ in the future.

It's nice to hear your positive report! We'll be there in about a month and I can't wait to show my DH this resort. I think he will love its' compact design and ambiance even with the spring break crowds. Did you eat any beignets? I fell in love with them and had to have one every day on my last trip.

No, I didn't try the beignets. Rats! I had planned to do that after reading rave reviews of them on the boards, but I flat forgot. Oh well, gotta leave something to look forward to next time.

Hi guessin that you have an AP. Did they ask you for it at check in? I have ticket issues. I have to go to DD to exchange some old hoppers for a new AP since I let mine expire. I'm hoping they don't ask so I can just take care of it our first day at the park.

Yes, I do have an AP but we weren't staying on an AP rate. I got a room only discount code and it was cheaper than the AP rate was. Sorry I can't be of help on whether or not they'll ask to see your AP. Hope it all works out. Have a wonderful time!

If they do, I'll just have to hop on the boat and run over to DD. They have never asked before but I've read that they have been cracking down.
