I was still in the middle school, but from what I've heard it came within a few miles of the HS. Never touched the ground though. Apparently a big funnel cloud, and lots and lots of wind. But I'll never forget that day, and how dark it was outside.
Speaking of weahter...Anyone remember the 'Big Quake' in Seattle Washington about 5 years ago, it was 6.8 and I was at school. I remeber my teacher hiding with a student under their desk, me saying "I think a big fat guys on the roof" and some kid saying "Dan, ill miss you"....
Even though kids at my school smoke, our school gets on fire, we have bomb threat I actually dont feel that unsafe. I mean, the druggies do their thing in the bathroom but dont really care.. I mean they have nothing agianst me, so no fights. And here no one really uses guns, if their mad at you they just crack you in your face...
I saw a bomb threat in our bathroom but I told the teacher and they said to go to the office when i was done with my work.. but i didn't get done... The threat said
"Bomb Till' 2:40" 2:40 is when school is out but it is stupid since it said till that i didn't bother hurring to finish my work..

I mean, can you imagine how stupid that teacher would feel? Someone finds a freaking bomb threat, and they just sort of blow it off. Then schools out and BOOM! Oh yeah, your brilliant whoever you are.

About 2 weeks ago we also had a bomb threat... early in the morning...
Suposivly a call left on the machine said that 3 of our 4 schools (elementary, middle, and high *we have a primary too*) had a bomb in it. On my way to school we had to walk down to another school, a catholic school and wait in the parking lot. We stayed for maybe an hour or two. But thats not as long as the other time...
Thats right i have been in 2 bomb threats in one school...
Back in elementary school we had one. We got evacuated to the High school gym and stayed there. I sadly got a headache because i had nothing to eat so i got to go home... But everyone else who stayed had to eat lunch there too..
My school for some reason got a lo of bomb threats... and if anyone is wondering im in Jersey... weird
And i just read AllyGirlie's post...
My school is a good school, our principle almost called the cops over 1 buck and a pair of missing shoes (one was found i dont know where the other one is....)

I would have felt so stupid to if i hadn't told and there really was one... but there were people in there when i was in there too... so i assumed one of them might go to the office... The teacher was a sub. I know i'm brilliant lol
At our school we have lock downs about twice a year. That's when the drug dogs come in...we have a BIG problem with pot in our school, our best(they really aren't good ) sports players think it is the cool thing to do! Also at Onsted a local school to us had a bomb threat written in the girls bathroom...A friend of mine that goes there said after about a week of lockdown everyone was pretty sick of the whole thing.
