A bomb threat???

Well today at my school we were in class and heard a faint sound of a bell, so my teacher looks outside and sees the whole school evacuating. (we were in one of the rooms that cant hear the bell well) so they annonce over the intercom "This is not a drill, exit the building immediatly" so we all run with our bags, but our teacher yells at us to leave them, so we do and head down the street, across the road to the ''safety field" and wait there for about an hour, in the hot 85 degree sun..And since Im in student council, I had to sit with my fellow SC'ins and our teacher wouldnt let us go to the shade...Then we get back and are burning up and the office people wouldnt let us get water. Apparently someone called the school and said "This is a bomb threat" and hung up....So thats was my excitement of the day.

I know..Our school already has enough problems. Last year it got set on fire......3 times, and totally graffitti'd about 2

2 years ago we had two bomb threats. They never told us what was happening untill they checked the school. In the girls bathroom they found a note explaning about a bomb hidden. They locked all the class room doors and called in 2 dogs and a police squad to serch the schools!

I've been through three bomb threats and two gas leaks. at least 7 lock downs. (two of which the teacher was out of the room and three were with a sub) And I'm not counting when the drug dog checked EVERY locker in teh school. there have to be at least 4000.

lol poor dog ! it's nose probably hurts! This year about a month ago some one brought pill capsules with sugar in them to skool and we couldn't leave our classrooms for like 30 min into our nxt class.

At my elementry school we had a bomb threat. A girl wrote it on the bathroom stall..so..instead of evacuating the buliding, they put us in the gym! This was so long ago its funny i remember..but the girl got caught and got expelled from our school.

In middle school also..this one girl (of whom ive known since kindergarten) had a locker right next to mine. Well the search dogs came in to search for drugs..they searched my locker thinking it was mine but it was really the one next to me. She ended up having her purse in there with marajia (however you spell it).

There are three or four dogs. each one has a team. tehy walk it up next to each locker and wait for it to stop on point. or bark. the one in teh hall way I was in barked. they jump up on the doors too. Each one was at least 2 hours long.

I was still in the middle school, but from what I've heard it came within a few miles of the HS. Never touched the ground though. Apparently a big funnel cloud, and lots and lots of wind. But I'll never forget that day, and how dark it was outside.

worst drill i've had was when we were on a school outing to Devon for the week

someone sprayed deoderant (can't spell..) at the smoke detecters and set of the fire alarms at about 2:30 am

oh and at this thing called lark in the park (2 week summer holiday religious event thing held at our local park...) last year we couldn't get out of the youth bus (a bus with things like a TV, dance mat, table football, etc.) because a bus close by ws suspected of having a bomb inside (this was a little while after that bomb attack in London with the bus and the trains) and we couldn't get out for about 1 hour until the police came or something i don't remember that well

Last week there apparently was a fire in the cafeteria kitchens, and they made us go outside for about a half hour (without our jackets). Only one flaw in their plan- it was less than 20 degrees out, plus it was windy. brrrrrr!!

We've had like 3 bomb threats pretty recently. The first one they took seriously. They evacuated the school and ended up releasing everyone. Most of the kids in school lost their stuff until the next day because they weren't allowed to go back into the school for anything (it sucked for my friend because she couldn't her car keys, cell phone, or wallet). Over the next 3 days we had 2 more bomb threats. The police and principal didn't even bother evacuating the school because they knew it was a hoax. So they just brought a bomb sniffing dog around while everyone was in class. All 3 times they found nothing.

My school is horrible. Fights, drugs, everything. We even had a gang fight last year right after school..

I don't feel safe in my school either. There are fights, kids bring drugs, there are kids who bring airsoft guns to school. It's ridiculous.

The only thing that makes me feel safe is that I came out of the projects of Ypsilanti. Our area's version of Compton.
