A bit early but... Fall Advantage 2008 anyone!? =]

So yes, it may be a bit early to even be thinking about fall of 2008, but lately I've really been considering doing the Fall Advantage next year. I'm not really sure seeing as it'd be such a long period of time to be away from home, however there's something telling me this is what I really want to do and that I should just go for it!

So how about it? I'm not alone on this am I? I'd LOVE to hear who else is considering doing the program at this time, what area they want to work at, all that fun stuff!

I would loooovve to do the program at this time or the spring next year! My dream is to work in entertainment! I really hope I can! It would be my sophmore year on college, so I don't know, but I will keep my fingers crossed!

I did the Fall Advantage 2001... yea i am an oldie... not really i was 19 when i did it. i loved it. i was a lifeguard at POR&FQ. it was a bit long to be away from home but it was a very great experience. i made some of the best friends i could ever ask for. my room mates (i had 6 including myself) was "friends" with MICKEY, hospitality (ASresorts), fast pass (MGM), merchandise (MK), and Rescue Ranger (EPCOT, when some one was out, in any area, they filled in). I'll be 20 when I leave (turning 21 while I'm there!). The only thing I'm worried about is being thrown into the job at the busiest time of the year, it'll be overwhelming obviously. But I know I'll be able to handle it, I used to work at a local amusement park which was always busy. Did you find it hard to adjust to everything?

Being a lifeguard sounds like it would be a lot of fun! I'm leaning towards attractions right now, maybe merchandise, maybe character attendant... actually I really have no idea, haha.

For sure would love to do CP fall 08 , however we will see though depending on school classes i have completed by then and such.

If I graduate on time, I plan on doing Fall 2008 (if I don't, then Spring 2009). I want to do a final CP before I go FT (plus getting a little extra cash saved up). The only roles I would apply for would be either character performer, or character attendant (since I have done it before and am currently seasonal as an attendant). It would also be my 4th CP (and third full CP).

For me the business of it all stopped when 9/11 happened, that was actually the busiest day for me since the parks closed and they sent everyone to the resorts and the pools stayed open until midnight. it wasn't that hard to adjust, it just took some time to get in a routine. you might also want to think about taking your own car so u dont always have to depend on the bus system. i had my car and i would have been lost without it. even though u take your own car u dont always have to drive it to work, but in the long run it will help since you can drive to the grocery store and what not, instead of taking the bus to the grocery store and lugging grocery's back on the bus. not very pleasant. but still i enjoyed every bit of it. (i just got back from my roommates (on the CP rogram) wedding and got to see alot of friends from my CP program 6 years ago, so u will make a lasting friendship with alot of people)

I hope to do CP for Fall Advantage '08, I just started back to school in June majoring in Hospitality & Tourism Management. I would be 23, turning 24 then.

Almost same boat here...I return to full-time student status this fall and am definitely interested in the FA 2008!!

I am hoping to do Fall of 08 and it could not come soon enough.
