A Birthday, Besties, and Bubbly...with Jen and Joe on the Go!!! 9/29 Link to New Report and We're Back Again!

We loved breakfast at GFC the one time we ate there but it looks like what I had and Ricky had aren't currently on the menu; we have dinner booked for next month but think we'll cancel. I do love any excuse to go to the GF though! We walked around a bit last month and it was SO quiet; like nobody in the lobby. I don't miss the big crowds but I'm looking forward to when there are a few more people around the resorts.

My hesitation for that place prior to Covid was the noise level (My husband is very hard of hearing). But it seems that with lower capacity, the noise level at all of the restaurants is much more tolerable right now!
We ate there last month and the noise wasn't overwhelming at all! They were as full as possible too but with the increased size it's not as loud and doesn't feel as tight.

Just in time to celebrate my birthday! 😂👍🎉
Well, Happy Birthday!

We have it booked for breakfast and dinner. The ONLY reason we have it booked for dinner is so we can visit Enchanted Rose. I really want to try Olivia's fried chicken. It looks sooooo good!

Seriously, Kelly! I saw so many women just walking out of the bathroom. It was disgusting. That, and people not wearing their masks properly. It's such an easy thing to do to keep yourself and others safe. Oh, and people not standing on the social distance markers. I was like excuse me, move back!!! LOL!

Yes, but (and I obviously cannot vouch for everyone here) with so many more people carrying and using hand sanitizer there is a decent chance that at least a portion of those people opt to purell their hands instead of washing them. For one thing, the number of things you have to touch to wash your hands always creeps me out. For another, my nerves go haywire with any water hot enough to do its job, but I realize that's uncommon and specific to me. BUT given that everyone I see talking about their park bag right now has a spare mask and at least one bottle of hand sanitizer, and given that in the bathroom you're likely to be surrounded by more people than once you get outside the bathroom and can step out of the way, they may still be cleaning their hands properly just not at the sinks in the bathroom.

But the masks being worn wrong are driving me up a wall where I live! It's not rocket science, people. It's to stop your breath. Do you breathe out of your nose? Yes? Then put the mask over it!

Hi there! I would see women walking out of the bathroom before COVID and hand sanitizing became a thing not washing their hands...That's why I would assume more often than not they are not washing their hands. It's just a little on the gross side for me. I'm a soap and water girl. LOL!

Loved your dinner. The tour of Canada was nice too. Thanks for finding on of the Remys for us. We're planning on trying to find them all.

That little fruit and yogurt plate looks just perfect!! I don't always love a big breakfast, but that looks like just the right amount.

The floor around the Grand is super cute!!! It took until my 3rd visit there or so before I ever noticed!

HAHA! Glad we could be of assistance.

It was so good Jackie! I'm still dreaming of that honey citrus butter for the biscuits.

It took us a few visits too. LOL!

We have been going to Epcot since it first opened and it wasn't until we decided to explore during a Flower and Garden show that we discovered the beautiful garden near Le Cellier. We have never tried Le Cellier, mostly because of mixed reviews, but the food does look good.

The Canada Pavilion is so pretty. We’ve always had great food at Le Cellier.

I know you guys said you enjoyed Le Cellier but now after watching the video I want to go! I also want to watch the new movie in Canada. It's been years since we'd watched the old one but it's something new to do!

It was really good. I recommend it and give it my seal of approval. LOL!

We love Le Cellier!! Between the pretzel bread and the maple creme brûlée I almost don’t need dinner lol. Only almost though as I love a good steak too. I’ve never tried the cheese soup though I want to but I just can’t imagine eating it in the July heat so maybe if I get my Christmas trip I’ll give it a go!
Didn’t manage the vlogathon I’d planned for yesterday Jen but today’s the day! Can’t wait! :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2:thumbsup2

Both vlogs were done in fun and are purely for entertainment!!!
No touchy!! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
Anyway, we were served our delicious biscuits and I started with a cappuccino and Joe had a regular ole cup of coffee. Or, maybe he had the pressed pot...Either way, I did not take a pic of his beverage this morning. #foodpicfail For our entrees, I had the Fruit and Yogurt, fresh fruits, choice of yogurt, fig cake, and granola. Joe had the Grand Breakfast, Two eggs served with bacon, sausage, and cheesy hash brown casserole. We both enjoyed our meals a lot and then our server surprised me with MORE pixie dust. She brought me out the most adorable Mickey cupcake for my birthday.
Looks like a gorgeous breakfast! Your fruit and yogurt is a generous serving and everything looks so fresh!
Dinner at Le Cellier and Joe Tours the Canada Pavillion Vlog!
Awesome dinner and I love that there is actually space between the tables now! We haven't been back there since our first trip in 2009 as we just weren't wowed by it. I do love the soup and pretzel bread though!

OOOH! That pretzel; bread is sooooo delicious. I like that too. Joe did too, obviously.
I pray you get your Christmas trip Moira!!!

Suse, the fresh fruit was the perfect way to start the morning. Well, that with coffee of course. LOL!

We hadn't been there in so long and it was just time to give it another try. Well, that and the fact that there's still not alot of options to choose from for TS...

I see Joe joined the “clean plate club”. Doing his Mama proud :thumbsup2

I’m really hoping for 2022 but if not then it will be 2924 Eh 2024 😂as my daughter and her crew take it turn about for Christmas between us and her in-laws ( we’re aiming to all go). We finally got our flight refund from this year’s canceled trip so I’m trying to keep my sticky fingers away from it so it can stay in the holiday fund 🤪.

Looks like a yummy breakfast at GFC. I'm not a breakfast eater but we usually do one or two for that man I married who loves it. Completely agree on GFC being a great option. I'm not sure how many times we've eaten there but it is consistently good. With such few breakfast joints open thinking this may be in our future as well.

At least you will have something to look forward to my friend.

We are going back in September for breakfast and dinner, but dinner only so we can visit the Enchanted Rose. LOL!
