A Big Thank You To Mini Golf Sally In Cozumel!!

My father purchased some tanzanite in Cozumel and when we got them home they appraised as fake. Sally saw the post and offered to make the exchange and go to the jeweler's for my parents! It was so nice of her, and I certainly never expected that! I know that the Dis is like a big family - but this was just so unexpected and generous of her that my family and I are still not over it. To think that someone would go that far out of their way for someone that she does not even know renews my faith in mankind!

Thank you again Sally....you will never know how much my parents appreciate all that you did for them.

Isn't this online community amazing?! People like Sally in Cozumel and Shirley (who is of course the Key West guru) are great examples of how much kindness there is in the world. They are such angels for helping others.

I met Sally during our cruise and liked her very much! She's friendly and has a lot of information to share! By the way, her course is challenging, beautiful and clean - plus Michael got a hole in one on the 8th Hole!
Look for the iguana(s) and turtle while you play through!

AND her water and soda were a buck a piece! Now that is reasonably priced!

I think it would be helpful to provide other DISer's with the name and location of where you purchased the phony stones. Perhaps using the power of the boards you can protect others from getting taken.

I did post originally a warning with the name of the store, but now I don't have the receipt in front of me. I will try to get it again and post it. I would simply stick to DCL recomended stores (this was not ) and use a credit card for purchases (we did not ). That way you are protected.

The name of the store was Arte Joyero . Sally was kind enough to go down there and exchange the stones...my fear now is that someone else will buy the "stones" and get ripped off!
