We walked down the stairs from Cinderella Royal Table and found our stroller. Juliana wanted to get out of her Cinderella dress, and I didn't blame her. It was hot out!!! We walked outside and everything was SOAKED! People were wet everywhere! We missed another downpour....make that 3 today!!!! We headed back to Main St. We were going to get Juliana's haircut. We walked up to the barber shop and it was closed! It closed at 5. Oh well, no biggie.. we will try again tomorrow.
Since we were already all the way down Main St., I figured I'd go to City Hall and upgrade my 8 day, PH, waterpark & more ticket to an AP. I purchased this ticket because Undercover Tourist was having a special and after using it I could exchange it to an AP for nothing!!! ZERO!! ZILTCH!!!! So while Melody and Juliana went into the Emporium I went to City Hall.
I told the CM that I wanted to upgrade to an AP. He took my ticket and scanned it. He was having a hard time, he couldn't figure it out. Finally he got it and told me my ticket was worth $437 and I would have to pay the difference.....$88!!!! I've read so many threads about upgrading tickets here on the DIS. Needless to say I was confused? Did the fact that Disney re-issued me my tickets have something to do with this? Would I have to put in the extra money to upgrade? I told the CM that I would have to think about it and took my park ticket back. I was bummed.
I met up with Melody and I told her what had happened. She didn't really understand it all, but I told her I would try again in the morning and if it didn't work I would just pay the $88 difference. She finished shopping and we headed over to Adventure Land. We stopped on the way to get Juliana a princess balloon, which she was asking us for all day. I had to pass Aloha Isle again and didn't get my dole whip.. I was still full from dinner.
We got to the Jungle Cruise about 6:30. (I think I forget to mention we had a FP to the Jungle Cruise from earlier) The skies were looking like it could start pouring at any minute, so we did the best we could covering up the stroller.
Not a bad FP time since it was 6:30.
We walked over and got in the FP line. It was moving really quick but I stopped the girls for a pic.
We had an OK cruise. The other guests weren't really getting the jokes. Our cruise director was good, she just wasn't getting much feedback from the guests. After the Jungle Cruise we went over to Aladdin's Carpets. It was about a 10 minute wait to get on. The girls sat in the front and I was snapping pictures from the back.
Juliana being silly.
We got off and starting thinking what rides Juliana would like to do that we haven't done yet... HUMMMM.. Back to Fantasyland. We had a Pooh FP that we didn't use yet so that is where we went. We got in the FP line and was handed this:
I didn't really understand why they give these in the FP line? I snapped a picture of it.. it was my 2nd one ever! I didn't take many pics on Pooh, I just tried to enjoy it this time. Here is one at the end.
It was already 7:30, was there time to do another ride? Let's hop on the teacups! It was less than a 5 minute wait.
Juliana was having a ball spinning this as fast as she could. I was getting really dizzy!
We got off and I thought 'I could be sick!' But the feeling passed in a minute or so. OK 7:45 time to find a spot for SpectroMagic. We headed over to Liberty Square and tried to find a spot.
On the way to Spectro
It was packed- there was no front row seating for this. We didn't have a good spot plus I forgot that Spectro comes from Main St. not to it! So the parade was coming from the left and to our left were buildings and trees. I had to hold Juliana to see and taking night pictures while holding her wasn't easy. But I managed to get a few pictures and we really liked seeing this parade.
After the parade we headed down to the hub to try to find a spot to watch Wishes! As a few rain drops were hitting us we were hoping that Wishes would go on- plus we really wanted to see TINK fly.
Up next....... the rest of our MK day!
