A bald eagle and the most amazing.Alaskan sunset (4 Photos)

Thanks guys :) I really and truely love taking photos. If I could, I would go professional (or at least semi-pro). I feel blessed to have lived in Alaska for as long as I have.

I look forward to moving south and learning the enviroment and hope to get some awesome photos in AZ (and other states). My goal is to go DSLR! :) I was joking with my husband, it's been 2 years, time for me upgrade my digital again ;)

if the ones on the minolta come out, I will scan and share. I KNOW the Eagle photos will be better :D

Yes we see them in the winter :D This was a photo I took last winter... it was cold outside and my camera started getting cold. I was worried I wouldn't get any photos ;D

I've never seen the sun purple, that's amazing. Thanks for sharing.

Great pictures! It must of been even more spectacular watching it yourself. Thanks for sharing!

My coworker was telling me the color of the sun (and sky) was caused by the smoke from fires in Canada. He was saying Saturday morning the sun was a purplish orange color. :D

My heart's in my throat. Breathtakingly beautiful. Thanks for sharing. :)
