Oh come on. I don't think that the boy was intentionally squirting people to grate on their nerves. That would be an entirely different story. This was an accident! (or so it seems, and being I wasn't there I will take it at face value.) You people act as if this boy had a loaded pistol ready to take people out. It was a stupid mister. And yes, it was probably annoying. But the point is, the OP feels bad that somebody yelled at her child. Everyone is beating her up on here, blaming her as a bad parent! My goodness, I would like to see how perfect everyone else's children are on here! To attack someone's parenting skills over a tiny, plastic fan?
It seems people are excusing this man's outlandish behavior because "he was hot and tired"....blah blah blah. Well, I bet the OP was pretty hot and tired, too. And so was her little boy. Why can't we forgive her for being hot and tired? Or forgive a little boy for being hot and tired? Oh, I forgot. Little boys are supposed to act prim and proper at all times and grown men have every right to yell at them for getting them a little wet!
And I am not saying that you shouldn't control your children...I'm not on that boat with the little lego throwers mom. But, obviously people are excusing the man's lapse of judgement based on the heat. Why can't we do it for the OP's little man? Also, I agree that DW should be for everyone. But when you go, you must take into account that there will be all sorts of children there. You might get misted. You might get your seat kicked. You might get a lego thrown at your head (but I hope not!) But, please, don't blow up at little children because of it!
