Has anyone rented a crib or anything from A Baby's Best Friend? How was your experience? Thanks

I have not, but if you dont get a ton of help, check out JC Penney or sears catalogs, they pretty nice cribs for reasonable prices,
and for bedding I really luv gus&max! super cute,
also for clothes Tutti Bella has some fashionable and functional designer duds for kids sizes preemie- 6x!

sorry if this is too much info!

We rented from Children's Furniture Rental last May and had a great experience. Unlike ABBF they set up and took fown the crib (not sure if they still do this or not), but that was a major plus for us on that trip since it was just for a long weekend - we didn't want to spend the time setting up a crib during a short trip. The crib was full size and in great shape - just like a crib you'd have at home.

I've heard great reviews of ABBF too, it's just that we tried CFR first and didn't need to rent again (we got DS a kids aero bed shortly after that trip and prior to that he did great in the Pack and Plays).

CFR doesn't have a web site, but their # is 407-522-0233. I spoke with Roy when I called, I believe he is the owner.

We rented a crib from ABBF this past May. It was a tan full sized crib. The mattress was in good shape. It came with the necessary bedding which was clean and smelled nicely (However I brought my own crib sheets and blanket so that dd could feel like she was at home). The crib was at the hotel by the time we arrived (a worker at the timeshare brought it to our room for us). My husband had to assemble it together. This took him about 30 minutes or so. You don't need tools or anything like that. I bet you might be able to put it together in less time. My hubby is very slow and just not the best when it comes to putting things together!

Overall, I was pleased with the crib. My dd slept just like she sleeps at home so it was worth it for us!

You can do a search for ABBF or www.abbf.com at the top of this page and I am sure you will get plenty of info. . . lots of rave reviews on these boards.

I am a big fan of ABBF. We always arrive at the resort before our children (with our grandchildren!) and I always set up the crib for them. Takes me about ten minutes and is easy as pie. No tools, full size, nice clean bedding, and all the items are always there when we arrive. We get more than just the crib from them, too, and they are always adding new items.

I can't say enough good about A Baby's Best Friend. Fabulous service! :thumbsup2

We used them and had the full size crib. I was very skeptical about assemblinmg a crib on my vacation!!!!! DH is not thet quick at assembly either. It took us 15minutes!!! I was shocked.

However.....DS never slept in it. We brought our own linen for the familiar scent etc but he screamed like crazy which he NEVER does. he's a pro sleeper but not in that crib. We even put it right next to the bed and I tried holding his hand but he would have nothing to do with that thing!

He slept with us (17mo old) an we used it for our package storage!!! It actually helped keep the room cleaner :goodvibes

We've rented cribs and other baby items for the last 2 years from them and were always pleased. The crib is just as others have described and the bedding is very clean. On our trip when DD was 7 months old we got a baby swing, baby monitor and an exersaucer in addition to the crib and last year when DD was 18 months we got the crib, baby monitor and a basket of age appropriate toys for her. We've been pleased with everything. This year DD will be 2 1/2 when we go and since she no longer sleeps in her crib at home, we will be renting a toddler bed from them.
