hi all,
here's my question,i know in the past a passholder could reserve/book up to 3 rooms with his pass.i thought that changed when the best rate thingy came out.so i called today to ask cro.i was told that me being a annunal pass holder could still book up to 3 rooms per pass.i know one of you would know the answer.i could swear i remember hearing it changed when the whole best rate program came out.maybe i was wrong.the cm on the phone explained it still is up to 3 rooms per pass with a one night deposit required to hold/reserve the room.

my other question, this is ok to do right?meaning i am trying to get a room for family members that are coming with me. so i won't be staying in that room, but at the same resort in a different room.this is legal, right? to book a pass holder room discount for a room i won't be staying in. I'm not breaking any disney rules, right??like i said i will be staying at the same resort. if it is ok do i need to be present when they check in to show my pass or can i do it anytime after that?i think they are arriving the day before me so being there at check in is gonna be very impossible.thank you all for any and all help in advance!!!

Yes, you can still book up to 3 rooms with each annual pass. However, your name (or the AP holder's name) must be on each reservation. Once you check in at the hotel, you can have your name removed from the reservation (off the other 2 rooms) and replaced by someone's name who is actually staying in the room. If there are 2 people in each room, put your name on the reservation plus the name of ONE other person in the room. Do NOT put both names down along with your name, or else you will be charged for 3 adults in the room when there are only two.

Yes, you are allowed to reserve these rooms for other family members, however you (the AP holder) must be present at check in. Therefore, having different check in dates won't work if you're going to be arriving a day later.

Does someone else know if the AP holder is also responsible for paying for all 3 rooms? This is what I'm planning to do in December, but if Disney does allow different card holders to pay for the rooms individually that would help out the hassle of trying to collect money from family members. ;)

I don't think there is a problem with each person paying for his/her own room. I am planning on this when we check in. I will already be down there when the other two families join us. I know I have to be there at check in, but they are paying themselves.
