His rates don't include taxes or airport fees. Add 30-45% to his rates. Now add the $20 you pay him. Doesn't look like a great deal to me, at least for Florida rentals.

I'm trying to check for rental dates 4/14/2012 thru 4/21/2012 at the Sanford airport (SFB) for a Luxury, premium, or full size car rate but I keep getting an error message. :confused3:confused3:confused3
Anyone else want to take a crack at it?
Thanks,
Joe

His email address is posted on the Ebay listing. I emailed him with a quote request and got a quick reply.

verbage on the website "car for hire" sounds to be an overseas provider:confused3

jmho Anybody can book a rental via a code they aren't qualified to use (especially the ones that include LDW). If you're asked when picking up the vehicle to produce the appropriate affinity ID required to secure said rate & can't, then you'll be stuck paying rack.

the rule of them is to never call the vendor;)in this case i would to verify i had a bona-fide reservation and certainly wouldn't provide any CC information upfront to guarantee the reservation.

that said, OP let us know how it works out for you, good luck:wizard:

Was the quote at a substantial savings? Or the same as you could get on your own?

I requested quotes for 2 rentals, one in Orlando and one elsewhere. The Orlando quote is >$70 less than the best rate I've found (so far!), and that's counting his $20 fee...and I check every website and try every code. His non-Orlando quote is not as good as the rate I found myself.

I'm hesitant to book with him because I'm a little OCD about constantly checking for the best rate and rebooking when I find a savings. I'm afraid I might very well find a better rate on my own, and save the $20 :). What I may do is wait until closer to our date, check with him again (his quotes are free, no obligation), and if he still beats my rate I'll give him a try. As was mentioned, he has 100% positive rating on E-bay by over 250 customers and seems legit to me.

Why use this guy when you can get good rental rates on your own.

Example: 1 week compact with Alamo May 4-9 was only $50 and that included the taxes and fees!!!

I have confirmed a booking with this fellow and have saved a bundle, yes if you have the proper booking code with the promo coupon code you can do it your self. Bob is "The King of the Car Rental", the guy spends a look of time researching this stuff and helps you with the booking, very cheap commission of $20 bucks.

I was able to get a (7) day Mini Van with Budget for $262.95 - $35 coupon when you pick up the vehicle. Total is $227.95 plus his commission of $20 for a Grand Total of $247,95 INCLUDES ALL TAXES AND FEES!

I am picking up off airport in Kiss and dropping off at Orlando (MCO), you save more if you pick up off airport.

Please post back here and let us know how the transaction went. My trip is 16 months out so I have plenty of time to review this guy lol.

And VAN, I dont think most of us are looking for compact cars. Also, we are all searching constantly for great deals and this guy seems to beat any deal I coudl find.

transaction went fine, He made the booking for you using his special codes. After the reservation is completed you will be e-mailed the confirmation from Budget so you will see the confirmed rate.

I had no problems with paying the $20 dollars when he send me the paypal invoice. I would suggest you e-mail Bob for a Quote first and if you happy go for it.

I would sugget you get a off airport pick up location if you can as will will save a bunch of those additional airport charges.

Thanks for sharing this. I'm contacting him about a rental here in my hometown. Sounds like he might not be super quick to answer for a bit because his wife went in to have their baby today.

His wife has had the baby. I got an email from him, now granted he said Oct was a bit early to get the deals. But the price he quoted me was the exact price I got from Thrifty via there website with no codes. This was for a midsize car. I am not sure what company he had the quote from. So when I get about 21 days out or so I will send him another request and see what he comes up with.

The way I figured you have nothing to lose by sending him an email and asking him a quote.

Well I figure a FREE QUOTE can't hurt anything. I emailed him to see what kind of rate he comes up with for my trip 8/24 to 9/3. I am hoping for something good. I have a rental already reserved, but it doesn't hurt to see if he can beat the price. Good luck to all and hope he is legit and gets us a GREAT deal !!! :thumbsup2
