DD has to go to work at 6:15 tomorrow morning. Her getting ready for work is not so bad, but her darling Bagle (Basset/Beagle) Bailey will want to get up too. And she will bark, and bark, and bark, until she is out of her crate and in OUR bed.

I thought that Saturday mornings were for sleeping in... :(

I feel your pain. I dont know what its like to sleep in anymore. If I get to stay in bed til 6am thats the best I have had in weeks. We have to be at the ball field tomorrow pretty darn early. Stupid opening day with pancake breakfast. I will be there. But I wont be happy about it. Things we do for our kids.

HAHA!!! *points and laughs*

Just kidding. It does stink to get up so early on a Saturday. Could your daughter put her puppy in with you before she leaves so you don't have to get up? Maybe the pup will fall back asleep once she is in your room?

Not a bad idea at all! Cause once she goes out and has her breakfast, she is ready for another nap. :teeth: She is not really a pup - she's a little over a year old, but I understand the Bassetts LOVE their sleep.

I should tell Ann to bring Bailey to our room before she leaves. It'll take us back to those days when the kids would squeeze into our bed. :)

I was going to say the same thing, make your dd feed her and put her out and then let her into your room. That's what I do for my dh when I have to leave early. That way dh is happy and so is our dog!

:coffee: I'm with ya on this one. But its me that has to be to work for 5:15 today and its cold and dark out there right now. AND...I just left the place at 7:45 PM. Ok...time for some more caffine, hope everyone has a good Saturday.

Lori

Thanks Lori! :p

OK, it wasn't 6 this morning, it was 6:30. I forgot to leave a note for Ann last night (she was already sleeping when I made the OP).

I'm sitting here while Bailey eats. Then back to bed for a while. DH will be cranky about the crowded bed, but tough noogies. *I* can sleep with Bailey :dog: in there. *He* was asleep on the couch at 8:45 last night, so *he* can wake up now! ::yes::

My boxer Elwood comes and snots me until I get up in the morning. Usually around 6am too...must be a magical puppy time. :surfweb:

I was up since 6:15 with my dd. She sure is an early riser. I wonder how it feels to sleep to 8am?

We were soooo lucky with our 4 DDs. There were not early risers (must take after Mom AND Dad! :) ).

Not so lucky with Bailey Boo. :( The only time she sleeps in is when she sleeps with Ann.

Jamie woke me up at 6:30 this morning, guess she had to go out! :teeth:

Change Jamie's color from brown to black and you would know what Bailey looks like! :)

DS woke up at 3:30 this morning. Figured by changing him and giving him a bottle, he'd sleep in. No such luck, he was up at 6:15. DD woke up soon afterwards.
