A 2 yr old & the dining plan

Hi! We have the dining plan for our upcoming trip. Since my son is 2 he doesn't need a park ticket, so isn't on the dining plan. How does this work when eating? For the most part he will probably eat off of our plates. But what about at a CS? I guess I just have to pay oop for him? TIA!

If you want him to have his own meal at a CS, yes it's OOP. We often used a snack credit to buy a side (fries, etc) and between that and our two meals, the boy had plenty to eat but that will vary depending on your family's eating habits.

A 2-year old can just eat whatever. Most CS servings are more than ample for an adult to share w their baby. Many times we'd just get 3 or 4 CS meals to share among our family of 5-6. Just depends how you spend your points, what you eat, and what he eats. You shouldn't worry one bit about this. He can either eat off your plate or you can spend more points or you can buy extra stuff, sides, or whatever you want for him a-la-carte and pay cash (aka charge to the room). If you're 2 adults, you can get a milk w one of your meals to fill his ba-ba (and a soda on the other for you guys to split) or however you want to work it. 2 CS meals would typically leave two adults and a baby completely stuffed.

We were usually able to share our meals with our 16-month-old. Sometimes we supplemented her meal with a fruit/veg purée pouch or other snack that we'd carried with us into the park, but typically we had enough for the 4 of us (2 adults, 5yo & 1yo) between 2 adult meals and 1 kids meal.

A tip- if your 2yo likes yogurt, some of the CS places offer yogurt as an adult dessert option. Whenever we encountered that, one of us would get the yogurt and give it to DD.
