How long after you faxed your information did it take for you to receive confirmation? How did you receive that confirmation?

If I were you guys I would call Event Services and make sure they did receive your documents.
I faxed in 7 registrations for the SSE and they only received 6. They put you right into the computer as soon as they receive the documents so it is easy for them to check.
I don't have the number, but I bet it is on the registration form. Peggie

I just wanted to point this out about the Happy Haunts Ball. There seems to be some confusion about confirmations. I've seen other posts outside this thread that say people got phone calls about being confirmed as officially going to the 999 happy haunts ball. This is NOT true according to events services at Disney, "official" confirmations are a long way off. They still have about 2 or 3 large events coming up before the 999 Happy Haunts ball. Possibly the phone call issue comes from people faxing/e-mailing their forms in and getting confirmed "receiving" the forms by Disney. The only way we know and are going to know is when we receive the official mailing about the 999 Happy Haunts Ball from Disney and I would guess it's a few months away.

I remember you telling me so I called the same day I faxed it and them told me they received it.

Thanks Larry, that clears it up for me. I was concerned that folks were saying they received a call and I didn't.

Hope someone can help me. I just read about the mdse for the ball... Wow! My question: How does WDW decide just who gets to buy what? I just don't understand why, with 999 people coming they would make 250 pins... Will we have to spend most of our evening standing in line to purchase these items. I certainly can't afford a 400.00 jacket, but 35.00 for a pin wouldn't be so bad. How hard will it be to get these things? Thanks. I've never been to something like this before, so if someone else knows the ropes, I'd appreciate the help.

Also, I spoke w/special event services concerning the ball. They took my phone number and called me back that same day saying I had been confirmed. When I asked if that meant I would be going, I was tole yes, that's what that means. More information will be sent out to those who have been confirmed at a later date.

I emailed all of my information (except payment) last night and got an email back saying they would enter it today.

When I called to give them my CC# and asked for a registration number to reference on my paperwork they said they wouldn't be entering anything for a while. She told me that I was confirmed as an attendee but that we would not be assigned a number or anything until a later date. Sounds like they are overwhelmed with all the events

I'm happy just knowing that I'm going! Looking forward to it!

Just wanted to update....

I called the number on the form earlier this week to check. The CM stated that "they had received my application" and that "yes, we were on the list and would be attending."

Sounds pretty confirmed to me.

The thing that bothers me now is that the original info site we linked to NOW doesn't say anything about the event being limited to 999 attendees(????)
